WOW! Is T-Mac1 really admitting that it's time for Mac 2 go? I've been fed up with him forever.....We are stilling winning, though, so maybe he will pull an Eli Manning and redeem himself in the sports' highest stage....

On the bright side, it's good to have a reality check game like this one going into the ASB so that the players don't feel too good about themselves. There are a lot of good teams out there in the West and the second half is going to be tough.

Give credit for Tmac to find Novak...but....I want the Tmac that will be relentless and take it to the hole hard and not get denied!! Thats the Tmac I want!!!!!!! It didn't seem like he wanted to take the last shot, oh yeah, and thank god he didn't pass to Alston who was wide open for a three...whew....

Adelman should have put T-Mac and Rafer on the bench in the fourth. Rafer's got real problems closing out games, and T-Mac got zero rest in the second half.

T-Mac's been playing this way ever since we've been on this home stand. No one minded much as long as we were winning games easily. But this game, he was being guarded by one of the best, strongest defenders in the league and on the other end it was a total physical mismatch for him. T-Mac did what all his critics have asked of him on offense -- don't try to force things. Well, this is what can happen what T-Mac isn't dominating down the stretch. You'll go through dry spells in the 4th, much like we did against New Orleans and Philadelphia when T-Mac wasn't available.

With that game winning shot, Novak is now an full fledged member of the-lanky-white-guys-who-are-damned-good-at-shooting-threes-club.

That lineup in the 4th quarter was terrible. We definitely need Landry or Scola playing in the 4th, they are hustle players that win the game.

and T-mac...well...it kind of shows you why he hasn't been out of the 1st round all these years...I just hope the rest of the team is enough to carry this team past the 1st round.

    1) Novak saved us this game. This will get his confidence up in the future and become a factor in the playoff.

    2) I don't understand why Adelman kept Tmac in the game, he was obviously having some mental meltdown tonight.

    3) Everytime Tmac plays with disinterests, the whole team would suffer. Luckily this time, Yao and Novak didn't get "infected"..

After seeing the horror show which only the Rockets specialize in, I had lost all hope. It's the narrowest escape of the year thanks to Steve Novak.
Will they never learn from their mistakes? Honestly, I don't think we can make it to the playoffs but no matter what happens I will follow and support them to the hilt.

hmmm, replace TMAC with anyone else, Rockets would have made more than 3 field goals in 4th quarter.

We will see guys like Artest in the playoffs and we don't have an answer. Yao is to easy to front and take out of the game and Mac does not want the ball at all in these situations.

He made the right pass but we were lucky he didn't turn it over trying to drop it off to Yao the play before. So Mac is our go to guy but he doesn't want the responsibility. We need a Ron Artest and I hope he doesn't end up in Denver.

Need to get Miller. And Novak needs to pick up his defense skill FAST so he can get PT!

Artest always has his way against Rockets. Only Chuck Hayes stands a chance against him. Too bad RA didn't leave Hayes on the floor longer when Artest was hot.

no one is going to ever call me a TOF....

because I like to call him Mclady... or Mclazy....

but im going to give him the benefit of the doubt... that he is still injured...

at least he was smart enough to only take 12 shots... tonight... and not jack up 20

    Rafer on the other hand....
