the laker fans are piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissed off that they lost to NYC. man, i just finished watching the game, and Odom, with a chance to win it with 7 seconds, basically dribbled around for 5 seconds then threw up an airball. tough. sucks to be a laker fan right now :p

Kobe's defense is overrated. Knick's guards were running circles around him....actually the whole Lakers D was dismal and was the reason why they lost. This is what, 4 in a row now?

This is the first game we won with less points than the opponent at the end of the third quarter. Cong, Rockets! :)

I was freaking out at work, only hearing bts and pieces of what was going on!!

So relieved to finally get official word.

Nice to win a tight one for once.

A sloppy and unentertaining game to watch! As the game progressed the Rockets snapped out of their funk and the latter parts of the game were extremely exciting and heart pounding joy at victory time. :p

I'm glad the All-Star break is soon, cuz this team is looking like they could use some rest. Good to gut out another win, though. Hopefully we can do the same on Thursday.

great win! especially, iirc, it's the first time of this season they won when trailing to start the 4th. tmac is da man. luther, battier, bonzi, and the rest helped. nice.

    Yes it is.

That game was very frustrating for 3 and a half quaters, but the end of the fourth and OT were amazingly fun. Sometimes I'm really in awe of Tracy's ability to put the Rockets on his back and carry them across the finish line (or to OT).

JVG - you want good perimeter defense?

You've got to play the bearded man !

Kings played very well and gave us their all (not surprising considering that they were on a bit of a roll coming in), but at the end the TMacout and the Header were too much for them to handle.

It would be a shame if T-Mac doesn't get serious MVP consideration this season. I know Dirk is going to win it but no other guard in the entire league should be ahead of him...he's simply back to being the best swingman in the league.

Was anyone else at the game last night? Did you hear an announcement saying you could redeem your ticket for a free haircut at Sport Clips anytime before Feb. 20?

Too bad I got my haircut there before the game yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm curious to know who JVG is calling out defensively when he says the Rockets don't do well or can't defend when opposing teams throw out 3 perimeter guys who can score. We know he's not looking at Battier ... so was it T-Mac or Rafer (or both)?
