Just watched the replay. Holy s**t was that mind boggling by PJ. He literally stepped away from his man to cover nothing.
That was definitely PJ's blown assignment. Like you said, he was the only Rocket not actively guarding someone. When that happens, that's usually the guy who screwed up.
We shot 34% from 3 which isn't terrible. They shot over 40%. 10 additional turnovers was the problem.
It's common sense. Even if we give up a 2 in the paint, we still have a chance to win the game in overtime. This game is officially on Tucker.
Harden been on a shooting slump and turnover streak lately He had some leg sleeve on earlier . He’s probabbly working through something
IF YOUR IDEA OF A GOOD COMPETITION SPORT IS ****ERY BY NBA REFS ON A CONTINOUS BASIS AND FANS SHOULD ACCEPT IT AS NORMAL, THEN ENJOY YOUR BULLSHET SPORTS LEAGUE. I DON'T CONSIDER DUCKS LIKE YOU REAL FANS, AND I DON'T GIVE A FORK ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT MY OPINIONS.
You can’t reason with these people that already hate Harden. There’s a reason I have most of these people you’re replying to on ignore, and I think mostly it’s the Lin-Harden days.
Now all we need is for Manfred to go in dry on the Astros---which I thought would've happened by now---and it'll be a perfect trifecta of the Gods dumping on Houston.
We have a long way to go. The Lakers are already dialed in. Good news is that aside from the Lakers, nobody is running away. Our effort and focus is just not here consistently. I have faith in the team but man this was a tough game.
What are you talking about? There's tons of threads of people on hating on Harden. You wouldn't have said anything if we had won the game. I do honestly hope Harden leaves in the summer and goes to a team with the right mentality and coach to win a championship. We don't deserve Harden at all.
Idc about this loss... we’re starting to slowly gel together and it takes time. Screw Lebron and AD for clicking so well but Harden and Westbrook will get there too. I’m just happy Westbrook is finally doing what he does best and that’s driving to the basket.
russ also got 2 wide open layups and an open 3 off of james harden touching the ball and getting doubled 40 feet from the basket.
Harden did an excellent job of picking up the cut. Tucker, for some reason, decided to come off a 3pt specialist to cover a cut that was already covered by Harden. Tucker ended up in no man's land and it was game over.
This team is just so meh. Pretty good team that will win around 52 games, but they don’t inspire any confidence at all to win anything meaningful. They have no identity, do they want to play Harden slow it down ball or Westbrook up tempo ball? Their effort level is hit or miss. How does a young and inferior Sacramento team, on the second night of a back to back, play harder and smarter than you? As currently constructed this team will probably win one playoff series, and then get bounced in 5 by the LA teams.
It's sad too, if he was just a few feet closer probably makes that shot hard enough for Bjel to hit it. Him being WIDE open was just too easy.
