i've been thinking exactly the same since last night's game, but haven't been able to decide about who to send out in trade between tucker/gordon/house -- what thinks you? also would harkless from MIA be a viable get/fit?

 

Westbrook sucks at winning important games. He is too stubborn and stupid to be a winner.

 

Play with 5 small move tucker in the center and put cousins in the center for a long time with Gordon and wall which let Kings blows Rockets. Silias should have a lesson learn, luckily we have harden to play hero ball to kill them

1st game for Wall... just need them reps in. They have enough young and hungry energy players to bolster Harden wanting to play. Good group. No expectations on Harden and Team = relaxed play. This is all just extra.

 

McMillan plays straight man defense. That wouldn’t work here.

 

What we're doing NOW isn't working here

 

I have been critical of the Rockets defense, but it has been 3 games. I will stick with Weaver and Silas that are comfortable coaching man, drop 2 variants and switches over a guy that only coaches man defense.

I understand what they are doing, they believe long term it is better to be able to play multiple ways defensively rather than just switching everything. The question is how long will they stick to mixing it up if they continue to struggle?

 

Sorry but Danuel is clearly not playing well and he is the most expendable.

PJ is old and limited offensively but plays his heart out and is the best defender on the team. Most tradeable because of his defensive versatility.

I think Ego is the most talented out of those 3 and undervalued by the whole league.

 

Randle and Knox

Good news for Harden and wall.

 

if we thought westbrick was bad, wait til we get a hold of julius randle. randle might be the lowest iq player in the entire league on both offense and defense. and knox just plain sucks.

 

Richaun Holmes is good. Trade for him if anything then to teach our players how to hit a floater.

lol definitely not over pj. ask any coach in the nba who they would rather have and 30 out of 30 will say pj over julius randle.
on top of that, randle is making $20M/yr.. hell no.

julius randle is a mix of all the worst things of michael beasley/javale mcgee. theres a good reason why every single team randle has been on, it's been one of the worst in the league. high usage/low iq - some reason gms still get tricked into paying him money and giving him mins.



house is an idiot so i agree ship him out... but definitely not for kevin knox. knox is getting paid lotto pick money, shooting mid 30% from the field in 20 something mins a game for the past 2-3 years... and somehow he keeps getting worse and worse. still hasn't worked on his fitness at all, gets pushed around, and does not look like an nba player whatsoever.

there are much better options than randle and knox, trust me.

 

Sad to see that. He’s had many injuries in his career.
