any chance we can get a torrent of this game for the out of towners? It sounded like such a great game, and probably was.

Yao and T-Mac BOTH got 20 shots. I like seeing that. Hopefully both of them will continue to get that many each game. The key for Yao though was not getting in foul trouble so he could stay on the floor to take those shots.

There were times near the end of the game in which I think the Rockets got the benefit of no-calls on the defensive end. Yao would have been called for a foul against Webber and Miller if it was in Sacramento. Thank goodness that it was in Houston. David Stern wants home wins.

When Van was asking Yao a question, Yao was looking around for Colin Pine again lol

That block by Webber in OT on Yao was a joke,
There were hands all over Yao trying for the DUNK and there was absolutely no call.

This guy gets abused so often he might as well play Hockey up here in the North than BB, If Yao just rubs a guy it's a blatant Foul.

    Go figure?????

I've seen one 3 pointer like the one Steve hit against the Lakers a couple of years ago in OT, but one has to look long and far to find an instance in which 2 consecutive 3 pointers sealed the deal for the Rockets. Considering the Rockets were behind 2 points before the 1st 3 pointer was launched, it means there was significant pressure on the team to convert with the game about to end.

I think over the long haul, normally those calls cancells out by themselves. At some nights, you get bad calls, some nights, you get no-calls. The key is to be consistant. If you reach Kobe's status, maybe you will consistantly get calls to your benefits.

    Amazing to see us win!
I wish I could have seen the game. I was looking up the scores all the time. Yao must have been fantastic. T-Mac and he will gel even more with time.
The missing free throws scared me but we did it.
Ward surprised me with 7 assists and no turnovers which was great. Only 9 turnovers in the whole game is unbelievable.
I hope that Howard and Taylor will get better on both ends.

One thing to remember, Kings didn't front him. This was the biggest mistake in the game.

To give the ball to Yao when he is fronted is still the biggest problem. Hopefully, they can figure it out. If Rockets can achieve that goal before all-star game, they have a good chance to go deep in playoff.

Well, our PF still performed poorly in the game. If we could get a player such as Swift or Bosh, a young, fast, energetic banger, we would make a great leap and become an instant Championship contender!

    second impression

jediknight94595: Yao didnt win the game for us, it was Ward's 2 3 pointers. Trade Yao for Mimh and a 1st rounder.

I think it's important for the role players have respect to our star players, then they will play a more controlled game and stick with the responsibilities of his role. The respect for T-Mac is there for sure, but respect for Yao is not there yet, and I firmly believe it will be there soon, if Yao can keep up his effort and desire. Then, before one takes another shot in a hurry, while he's 1 for somethng, he would actually think, maybe i should have give it to those two guys, before everyone else jumps on me?:)
