Hey all of you Yao haters, it's time for your sorry A$$ to go to work! Go Yao........................................
kings always gave us big headache because of their great rotation and fire power we could not have won this one last year
great win and great to overcome the adversity that was the horrible officiating. Those that spoke of Yao's demise may have spoke too soon. The big fella was huge tonight and T-Mac was absolutely unbalievable again.
What a great game, too bad I can't watch it. But I guess I broke my "Ctrl+R" keys The win really should gain lots of confidence in them. Especially, it would make T-Mac and Yao appreciate each other more and harmonize them more. Really looking forward to future games, where out role players play a more controlled game, and out stars shine. Go Rockets!
I was a Ward fan before this game, but I was wavering when he was bricking like a madman. I've seen 2 consecutive 3 pointers before, but Ward's 2 consecutive 3 pointers may have been the most important sequence in the last 5 years for the Rockets as far as gunning from beyond the arc. Ward and Lue just have to hit 3s and defend the point guard. I don't blame Ward and Lue for Bibby going off because Bibby was always a freak from outside. This is why the Rockets got catch and shoot jumpshooters to surround the go-to guys.
Charlie Ward had 7 assists and 0 turnovers, while Steve had 2 assists and 6 turnovers vs. the BOBCATS.
Props to Ward too! 7 assists, 0 TO, and hitting CLUTCH! Threes in overtime when it mattered the most! Must start a Ward Fan Club!
Turning point of the game: The Rockets have to take out JJ, because Sacramento put in both Bobby Jackson and Bibby. Lue and Ward both played clutch down the stretch, and perhaps sittin JJ and his cold touch actually benefited us. Good game... as I said earlier, the rest of the NBA better take their shots at Houston now, cause when Yao and T-Mac get comfortable, look out NBA.
