Really strong first half. Jabari came out on fire, would like to see them seek the hot hand though. Brooks, Tate just absolutely scorching their matchups. Alpe playing strong defense on Sabonis, he didn’t have anything going. Jalen playing with the right intentions, attacking the paint. Couple of miscues that weren’t on him else he’d have 2-3 more buckets.
Sabonis is usually a better rebounder. We don't see it this game but he's averaging 14rpg this year. Everything else vs Sengun is debatable.
Having more famous dad. Father Sengun might be a better man (or not) but Arvydas was great as a basketball player. Otherwise Sengun surpassed Domantas.
Up 17 and Jalen bricks 3 FTs and lead shrinks to 10. Up double digits and Alpy gambles on a pass to Jalen and lead down to 6. This team needs to learn that details matter. Can't give away possessions.
Dillon could've been a nice candidate for MDA's small ball movement, he can switch everything as good as drain some open threes.
