I agree because Dmo is much more versatile being able to play both the center in smaller lineups with papa and the normal power forward spot with Howard also on floor. Hes prob a little better suited for the first big off the bench with a healthy squad.

Realistically it is the Asik-Howard problem. However, I believe that D-Mo can start hitting a league average % of his treys. At that point it is a whole different ball game. Howard shuts down the 5 and D-Mo smothers the 4. Bring on LMA.

I hear clutch asking McHale about Harden's defense.

But yeah, these are the types of games that Harden would have gave up when his shots wasn't falling in previous years. The maturity is full fledge for Mr. harden.

D-Mo, Howard and Jones big rotation. Could it get better than that?

For sure, Black and Dorsey will be relegated to end of bench/6 fouls roles

Wow, last time it happened was in 1986 back when McHale was still playing. And it was against the Kings then, too.

Disagree!! Asik wasn't versatile at all he had to be in the Paint. With DMO he can essentially do what Rockets want him to do, float around the high post, corner threes and such, BUT throw him a couple post touches while Dwight is on the floor too. I don't understand why that is so hard. PLUS, we have seen how good a passer he is! I see no reason why DMO cant be a Marc Gasol type of player.

This is the logic I do not understand. The injuries to this team may be a blessing in disguise. It has allowed the bench to grow and show exactly what they have. We beat a very good Kings team with 3 players off of our bench unit. We only get better when TJones comes back. If you think about the playoffs and the reduced-man rotations, this team is looking better and better. I've been hard on DMo, but if he can be even close to the player we have seen the last two games (offensively) on a consistent basis, this team is scary.

It's crazy, that one off-season signing could make such a huge difference.

Thank you T.R. Dunn, you have been nothing short of amazing.

Would be a full 360 if mid-season we had canaan, johnson, black, Dmo, Capella, maybe as a second unit. I would still start Canaan over bev though.

Perhaps you are right. But the issue would be settled if D-Mo hits a league average % from behind the arc. I believe we will see that in the next year.

It would be huge if he managed that. Fingers crossed.
