Despite the foul trouble, Yao is playing solid, seems to be the only one in rhythem. McGrady just looked hobbled, although he will soldier on, I don't think he will ask out. Obviously, the team is just out of sync, and you can tell already how hard/long it will take to develop chemistry and make this team look 'smooth'...yup, I can tell these guys are 'new' alright. Still, I would LOVE to see more of Stro at the 5 and go 'small' to match up with Brad Miller and the Kings' annoyingly short lineup.
That look on Brad Miller's face after Yao got the offensive rebound and went right over Brad to put it back in is priceless. It is early but I think Yao has finally put it all together. That playoff series really matured his game I think.
I am liking Derek Anderson more and more. Good defense and solid outside shooting. He is going ot be valuable this season.
Yao and Stro barely on the court together. But Yao looks dominant this year. Everything looks easy for him.
I love his toughness, and his new determination to force it inside. I think Yao finally 'gets it', and that spells trouble for the rest of the league. Now, what remains is for him to be more careful with picking up those fouls and for the refs to give the man some f*king respect.
Big YAO you can't miss that dunk man! BTW, Alston needs to STOP HESITATING and take the shot when he's open. I understand he is trying to be a 'pure pg', but some middle ground between what he was in Toronto and what he is now would work too. Oh, and our rebounding stinks, we need to be more aggressive on the boards.
It will take an amendment for that, but I am sure with the power of Clutchfans we can get R done. Deke is unbelievable, the man is freakin' ageless
