yes the blame resides on them for Yao, TMac, and Sura being hurt. our top 3 players are hurt...clearly JVG and CD are idiots. lets take away duncan, manu, and parker and see how good the spurs look.
Things are going pretty crappy right now for us, but havent we learned by now that you cant give up this early? Example: last years Rockets, the Astros the last two years. Runs can be made, winning runs that is, just like losing runs. We have all seen it done before and we will all see it happen again (this year we hope!) it CAN happen people. Im just as depressed as most of you are about our current situation, but thats the way it goes sometimes. I think we go on a streak once Tmac and Yao are playing again. The question is when will they both be back? Please let it be sooner than later, these losses are taking a toll.
Compare the personnel moves of Pheonix, Detroit, Dallas, San Antonio and then ours. No contest. If Sura is our third best player... there are problems in Rocketland.
Maybe we can sign him to a 10 day contract. Hell at this point I'm willing to try anything. He cant do any worse than Bowen.
It isn't about who has the best stats, but about who fills their role the best. Given that, and Sura's leadership, and inspiration of the other guys, it changes things. It isn't that he is the third best player on the team. It is that he is the third most important player on the team.
