Everything was going Rockets way towards the end and then Skip slipped and the momentum shifted.

That team was good, but with the lack real offensive coaching, even thou we had a defensive coach. Houston lacked real scoring production off the bench, i mean besides yao and tmac, they really didn't have a goto scorer like eric gordon, nor did they have defensive juggernauts like ariza, tucker, etc... Luther Head, chuck hayes many people here will argue with this, but they were semi scrubs, on a good team.

I liked chuck hayes, he seem to be good at times, but not really when it came to facing the big teams. He was like todays avg scrubs. The rockets lacked grittyness and defensive rebounding back then. They were not hungry to get out of the 1st round ever!!! Just really didn't have the team. Now the 2008-09 team looked way better, it even had francis on it hehe..

Yea, I remember game 3 or 4 of that series where only 4 players scored on the whole damn team. That was ridiculous. Luther Head was a solid player for us that season but turned into a total scrub when the playoffs started. I remember screaming at the TV at him numerous times lol.
