They're clowns, and the only reason I pay attention to them is because I listen to NBA pods while commuting to and from work. The Ringer NBA Show and Open Floor are generally pretty entertaining, until they start talking about the Rockets, because they just can't seem to distance themselves from their default position of Rockets hate.

Anderson should not see pt for a while. Utah in this game and Minnie in game 3 went on big runs when Ryno got minutes.

Ball must go in basket. When ball no go in basket, no get points.

Also, when other team shoot like Golden State, other team have good chance win.

    That is all.

It's very telling that you're star player has to say "they caught us off guard", how do they not get that they have to fight for 48 minutes? Harden did show up during the game so really wonder how they could just think it would be a cakewalk. That's the difference between us and the Warriors, they bring it every single game and are just too good and usually have great starts.

From the Rockets side I liked the defense in stretches, Tucker the only one for the whole game. Did you see that dunk by the way and it's sad that our crowd did not get loud AF on that block on Mitchell nor that jump ball. That's the type of play that would get most crowds hyped and could've given us that extra boost. Tucker as MVP of the game. Harden was very good overall, so was Capela and Ariza on D for some stretches, even Gordon had his moments.

I am very disappointed in our bench, MDA's lack of trust in Black and Joe - who he trusted in the regular season only to take it away now - when Nene, Ryno and Green are not giving you anything. CP3 was okay, but so many times he just seems to think he's Harden, just dribble and then expecting a call. Ariza is not giving us anything on offense. Gordon was terrible for most of the game, though finally had some good moments.

Ryno is just not giving us anything right now, just sad. Maybe someone should tell him, when you get it, just shoot it. Every single time! Green just needs to focus on defense and try to get some dunks or lay-ups. Nene seems to be done, have no faith in him left. We don't even run pick-and-roll with him getting an easy shot any more. Mbah had his moments on D, but didn't make many drives or cuts to the basket, but that one with Tucker was sweet!!

Rockets just need to understand they need to bring it every game and MDA needs to show some adjustments with the rotation, Ryno getting 5-10 minutes is not working. Nene is not working. Green isn't for these little stretches. At some point he has to maybe go to a small rotation and give guys 15-20 minutes, just play different guys or give them different instructions.

We also need to play quicker and get the fast break game back, because while we only had 7 turnovers to their 17, they scored 13 off of ours while we only scored 12 off of theirs! We're not capitalising on easy basket opportunities, which is just plain stupid. MDA has allowed for CP3 and Harden to take over the team with their slow pace, which is fine, but at some point you need to put your own stamp on it again with that 7 seconds or less style.

We lost this on defense though since we let one of the best 3pt shooters get WIDE OPEN 3 after wide open 3. It's amazing how we're considered a good defensive team when I constantly see us collapse, double team, switch and then leave shooters open.

Eesh. This is not a good loss. Losing at home to the jazz, that does not inspire confidence for the Warriors series if they get there. Damn. I could see them losing in Utah a game or two, but not at home. Extremely disappointing

    We'll win this series

But Golden State will beat us in 5 or 6

Jazz had too many open 3s.

You're begging to get destroyed by GS playing like that.

The Jazz will want to play well in front of their crowd.

Hope is they feel the pressure.

Guys like Ingles and Jae Crowder have season highs or career highs all of the sudden.

You can't leave knock down three point shooters wide open from 3.

Just a lazy all around effort. This is the playoffs not RS and its a home game. Now the pressure is on the Rockets they loss HCA with a loss at home.

Can't slack off, the Jazz are not a cakewalk team. 3rd best team in the West.

-JJ should see all of greens minutes and maybe rynos. Ryno sharing the court with harden shouldnt happen at all, unless Gobert is out to give james more space.

-CP should shoot play with a little more confidence.

-More movement early in the shot clock to get the mismatches we want. We were getting into the offensive rythm way too late in the shot clock

-Luc should play more than 16 min,EG should play less than 30 min....Dantoni should have some sort of tactic regarding rotations but he never does.
Ex: Attack the Gobertless lineup with (Harden, PJ,EG,Luc,Ryno)

    and ofcourse play harder. clap.clap.clap.

    Big mistake of game 2:
    - Double team the PG after pick and roll
    - Timeout should be called around 72-71

Will anyone note Mitchell came down before going back up for the putback? Ends up being 5 steps.

Live by the 3 ... Die by the 3.

When our outside shot is broken and on top of that our bench decides to take the night off, it's a wrap.

    Starters are way too lackadaisical.

    Not worried ... yet.

What makes this worse is that they know Utah comes out strong after wins like they did against chokc, so why in the world did they not learn?

Not worried? I am. Our defense sucks, they play good D, we have seen that in the second half of Game 1 (we lost the 2nd half).
We miss too many rotations, we can miss those in the Regular Season, not in the second round of the playoffs. They have to stay focus, come on man everyone tonight played like they were leading 3-0. Look the Warriors, they play with fire in the eyes, they are angry, they want to win. We think that Utah is gonna let us win...

    Bench (EG and Ryno): invisible
CP3: not creating, playing like the bad Harden
Terrible Defense: leaving shooters wide open at the arch, allowing picks to roll straight to the basket

Agree. Gordon is playing awful...CP3 has not played bad, but he can do more. He miss too many short mid range tonight...

Defense: terrible, bad rotations, terrible defense on pick and roll...we scored as usually do, but we allowed Utah to score 116, this can't happen.
