When everyone is tired, Yao has big advantage.

    a great win tonight.
but utah really out-excuted us badly,
sloan is a much better offensive coach.

First time predicted score here, gotta feel good. Would have been 6 points if refs called that foul with 2.6 seconds to go and Yao had the ball.

Ditto to T-mac, keep it going!

Just when I thought the Rockets couldn't play any dumber, THEY GO AND COMPLETELY REDEEM THEMSELVES!!!!!

However, Boozer is Yao's DADDY. Wow. It was like Boozer was running around a stationary pole. Yao looks slower than I have seen him in a long time.

TMac still is not hitting for percentage, but played much more aggressively, and how many assists did he get?

    A Luther sighting!

Play of the Game: Chuck Hayes taking the charge.

    Shane, thanks for the threes.

Howard, you were perfect, take a bow.

Rafer didn't screw up too bad, thanks Rafer but that late pass was really ill-advised.

The Rockets started like they have played in the first four games, but at some point they broke out of the funk and actually played decent ball. The Jazz are a very, very tough team. They play football, and shoot well. Good grief they are physical. Finally, a fun game to watch. Except, Ming is really struggling offensively and isn't exactly on fire defensively, but the rebounds were nice.

Frankly, I had doubts that this team would regroup after the mugging in Utah. However, they did and they are back in it. If Yao can get it going and the bench catch fire, the Warriers may blaze a path to the Finals and either the Rockets or the Jazz are going to take it.

Extra, extra! TMac bashing is out, Yao bashing is in! ;)

Come on, Yao just put too much pressure on himself, which caused him lost his shooting touch. He still came up big at the end of the game -- grab tons of rebounds, hit clutch shots and free throw... At least he did not disappear like Dirk.

LOL! Juwon Howard is having his 15 minutes of fame at the postgame conf right now.

He deserves it, if it wasn't for him in the third when Yao was a complete liability, we wouldn't have been in this game.

All of you T-Mac haters that were talking smack about T-Mac after the last loss in Utah can now STFU.

Also, whoever suggested, or even hinted at trading Yao should go into their bathroom, turn on the lights, look in the mirror and slap themselves across their face until they calm down. If that doesn't work, call me and I'll come over and slap you around until you calm down.

Don't kid yourselves into thinking this series is over. If it was, there wouldn't be two more games to play. The ODDS are in Houston's favor, which means about as much as it did when we were up 2-0 on the Mavericks in the playoffs in 2005-- that nothing is decided until the outcome is final.

That charge that Chucky took towards the end of the game was it. He might have been scoreless but a lot of his contributions reflect towards the final score. It's knowing his role.

Let's go to Utah and comeback without them!

tmac dominated this game, went to the basket almost everytime he got the ball, it was great, finding teammates 16 asts, brilliant. He wasn't going to lose this game and did what he had to do, he was very determined and played with emotion tonight. 42 minutes with a hip pointer and dominated the game. 26 pts plus at least 32 off the 16 asts, tmac was responsible for at least 58 pts, Kobe who???

But the real diff in this game was the bench combo of Juwan and Luther, Juwan was very good, and Luther was improved, they got their 20 pts off the bench and that was huge. Also 5-7 3pt for Shane was huge, particularly in the 1st half.

I am PUMPED about this win, I am going around singing the na nah na nah hey song over and over. Go Rockets!!!!!!
