    We all know how important this game is. It is, unoequivacally:

    1. The most important game in T-mac's career thus far. A loss may doom him as never having the heart to win a title. A guy without heart. Lack of focus and commitment. It will be a weight perhaps enough to break him. And people may never look to T-mac as a guy who can carry a team.

    2. The most important game in Yao Ming's career to date. A poor performance here may question if Yao is capable of ever being great - or if he's a one or two dimensional center that can be contained. People may see Yao as a guy who can't carry a team.

    3. Determine JVG's future. A loss here and likely series loss will end JVG's tenure in Houston.

    A lot is at stake tonight. Not just advancing, not just a game. Losing tonight would mean the Jazz figured us out and we could do nothing from there. A total team failure by the role-players, JVG, Yao, and T-mac - and it will question whether or not T-mac and Yao are good enough to ever lead a team to a title.

    In about 5 hours, we'll know what kind of team we have. Either it's a team that overacheived in the regular season and really isn't that good. Or it's just a team that is taking the right baby steps into becoming a contender.

    It was very gassy.

    Prediction, Rockets 96, Utah 83... Just need to shoot better.. Seriously Juwan Howard is pissing me off. It's like he can't do ANYTHING right and Luther Head looks like Chuck Hayes shooting the ball. If we can nail our 3's we should be in the clear.

    Agree. The Rockets shot selection has to be MUCH better. Our guards have to take it to the hole and get their bigs in foul trouble. Stop being passive and settling for jumpers. When they do this the perimeter wide open looks will be there. Yao MUST play like a big man and stop playing small. Take the pass, turn and shoot or draw doubles and triples and pass out. We are much better than we are playing IMO. Luther, it's time to wake up! You're better than this! Play like a MAN! It's time for the Rox to start playing ... Something called offensive flow would be nice.

    Look at it this way, at least we aren't down 3 to 1 like the Savs! Think they're looking for the panic button NOW? Hell, they're punching the damn thing! They are in deep kimchi and they know it! :D :D :D

    Remember every playoff game is different, there really is NO carryover, momentum if you will one game to the next.

    Regular season is regular season and the playoffs are the playoffs ...

    Let's go Rockets !!!

    Rox 99, Jazz 83.

    The Rockets cannot lose this game. Who knows if Yao and Tracy will both be healthy in the playoffs ever again? This might end up being the pivotal game of their careers together. And anyways, we can't lose to Utah...

    Rockets will win the battle tonigt if:

    1. rockets othr than Yao and T-mac can shoot over 40% and contribute more than 50% of the total rockets points;

    2. we see the evil look from T-mac 's eyes again;

    3. Yao quit turnning it over and get enough respect from the refs and go to the line consistantly;

    4. JVG start to smile and affect the rockets in a positive way;

    5. final and most importantly, we fellow rockets fans still laugh exactly 4 hours from NOW. ( it is 17:49pm now).

    Go kick some butts , Rockets
