This is from the game thread about how many people bust the Rockets balls.

There was not much to be proud of the way the Rockets played in utah. Except that they had many open shots..........That they missed A LOT of. Criticism goes with the territory, don't confuse criticism with lack of loyalty. Many people here are die hard fans, win or lose. It's definitely easier to be happy when they win, but there are many here who go through heartache when they lose. Much more than you hear about on this board.

Will people please stop talking about the 2nd round. You would think after the games 3 and 4 you would know to stop that nonsense.

Whew! What a game! We survived Yao shooting slump!

    Player ranking:

    1. TMac, he is such a unbelievable player! Made all right decision. Did not blindly shoot 3's. 10/10
    2. JHo. 100% shooting percentage. 6 boards, can he get any better? 10/10
    2. Battier. shooting lights off 9/10
    3. Rafer. shot well, and good decision maker 9/10
    4. Yao. Yao need to shoot better next time. But Yao did two things right in this game, boards and free throws. 7/10
    5. Hayes, did almost nothing but a clutch defense play at the end. 7/10
    6. Snyder 6/10
    7. Mutombo 6/10

Wow! the bench finally turned up 20-19, but Luther's game has to pick up abit more...

but holy crap TMac 16 asts?? Solid game again by Yao Ming, even though he did play soft in games 3 & 4..

We need to close this series off.. just 1 more!!!
    Rooting for GS tmrw!

no s**t. It's one thing to be confident but it's another to be arrogant to the point of taking the Jazz for granted...

And we can definitely win in Utah, so people also need to shut the hell up about coming back to Houston.

ummm talk about a bit critical and harsh. Sounds like you're very accustom and expect to see yao putting up huge # every freakin game....
every player did something good and bad this game, so dont be singling yao out. I agree yao missed some easy shots, but that boy played almost 40 minutes so dont be even questioning his stamina, you're like 2, 3 years late on that knock.

and can JVG complain for tmac on giricek mauling him on the perimeter? i'm shocked they have let this go for 5 games w/ the handcheck rules nowadays. if there is no handcheck rules, i wouldn't complain. but there are.

Yao fought hard though, it is just his shots are not going in and his confidence was a bit down because of huge presure defending Boozer.

He needs to play a bit loose. He did not smile for even one second in the game while Mac was obviously more relaxed.

We need both of them to play big next game in order to win... it is tough to win in SLC.

This might come down to game 7 I am afraid :(

Stop trashing rafers shooting, he was huge tonight, made a couple of bad decisions and gets beat by williams, but that is to be expected, you knew he is a bad one on one defender, he had great numbers tonight.

...Man, I have to admit though, that last stretch of Rockets basketball over the 3 min mark made me puke. Airballed 3s, errant full-court passes...man, we gotta show more composure next time we get a lead like that.

That said, the fact we won pretty much overrides that. Still, not something to be proud of.

Snyder should not, under any circumstances, shoot any more 3's. In this series it has been an automatic turnover everytime.

    great win, by the way.

I think Yao seems to be more worried about the screens utah runs than paying attention to his man sometimes when he's on defense. He should not be setting picks on offense. The Rockets should try and run something so he has an open shot facing the bucket, somewhere around the free throw line instead of trying to get a turn around fadeway which, if I recall, he missed every one he shot.
