Battier won this one for the Rox tonight, 5 from 7 from 3pt range was the difference.

And maybe it's time someone got that clog out Yao's behind because 6 from 18 isn't great and he is far better then that and it's about time he turned it up and showed why he is one of the most dominate big men in the league. I will be looking to Yao to hit a better percentage in Utah and take the series.

Tmac looked like Tmac from what I looked at the scorecard, not as dominate as he should of been but maybe he didn't get calls he should of, I haven't seen the game yet but am delighted the Rox got the W and take a 3 - 2 series lead and gain back some confidence after the games in Utah.

He may not have had a great game, but I'll take 21 and 14 all day every day.

I'll give Van Gundy credit for a key, if late adjustment. JVG put Chuck Hayes on Boozer in the last 2:00+, and Chuck did a hell of a job. I don't know if Hayes can stick Boozer as his full time assignment, but I would like to see more of Hayes on Boozer, unless and until Okur starts to heat up...which hasn't happened so far. With that caveat, we may be able to get away with Yao on Okur on defense in Game 6.

What is wrong with some of you? We won the most important game of the season against a very good team, probably played our best game in a while and were part of the best game of these young playoffs, but you are still not happy.

no, i've been pretty consistent throughout this thread about Yao being owned by Boozer and the Jazz playing us down to the wire on our homecourt while we can't stay within 30 pts at theirs.

tmac is still not very efficient. he needs to start making his jumpers. it's never been on except for 1 quarter of game 3. and make your fts.

i just hope yao can stay mentally strong.

and please, head and howard keep this up. can't afford a one game wonder

Rox has a chance to beat the Warriors to get into the conference FINAL !!

Think about it. Rox could beat the Spurs to get into the NBA final.

Co-sign. How many players in the league today can call 21/14 a bad game? Not too many. Yao looked like he is having serious fatigue issues though. An undocumented injury, perhaps? Or is Yao just recovering/regressing from the broken leg? Either way, Yao's play has slipped some, and he's going back to 04/05 fatigue issues, which is quite distressing.

I love that. WE WON!!!! That's key. What a performance from McGrady, but the GUY is Chuck Hayes! Defensive player of the year!
Now we have 3-2 lead, I said do not worry. We have a great tam and we have T-Mac

Great feeling, we won not let's beat them on the road
