Like Minnesota, Rockets completely dominated Utah all season.

Series should NOT go more than 5 games.

 

He will definitely try. He totally got in Paul George's head. Harden can't let himself get rattled. Not worried about Tucker, Ariza, and crew. They know what to do.

 

I was looking at the season series in depth...

The Rockets max points were 137, average was 116, minimum was 96.
The Jazz max points were 110, average 99, minimum 85.
We averaged more than their max. That has to bode well.

Also, here were notable player averages (points):
Harden 34, Gordon 21, Paul 17, Capela 13
Mitchel 16, Rubio 12, Gobert 12, Ingles 11

In a game without Gobert, we won by 21 points.
In a game without Paul, we won by 27 points (Harden had 53).
In a game without Capela, Gordon, and Anderson, we won by 11 points.

Basically, if we lose game 1, FULL GARM MELTDOWN AUTHORIZED.

 

Gerald Green will take out Ingles if called upon.

Won't be a cakewalk, but I much prefer the Jazz to the Thunder. The Rockets MUST elevate their game from the last series though. Time to prep for GS, if they beat NO, and I am not certain they will. Pels are red hot, playing the best basketball of the season. I still expect a Western finals with GS and Houston, and it will be a toss-up IF the Rockets are playing at their peak which didn't happen against the Wolves.

 

I won't be surprised if the first game is a close one or a blowout tbh.

Meltdowns are for those that have less experience dealing with emotions.

 

Gotta come out strong. In 2015, CP3 missed the first two games and we still dropped game 1 at home. Can't have a repeat of that.

Ingles is gonna play dirty and try to take Harden/others out of the game mentally. Don't allow that to happen and stoop to their level.

We will need to play a bit better than against Minny to win this one, but we should be alright. Need to be better defensively.

I'm saving my money for the showdown with the warriors. I really wanna go to this game though no one else wants to spend the money with me lol

 

So do you guys take back what you said that the rockets had the harder bracket of the West?

Easily took care of wolves and now the jazz don’t realistically seem that they can beat them. The pelicans are a lot lot tougher.

 

Houston should be able to win in 5, especially without Rubio who, lets be honest, won't be the reason the Jazz will lose the series. We blew them out 4 times with the team all healthy anyway.

I don't think we need mbah a moute this series...its the next series is when we need him.

 

Let’s invite his son to shoot the first shot but he must wear a Rockets jersey.
