The other Rockets played their rough and tough defense to contribute to the great win !!!

Once again Matt Harpring outscored the entire Rockets' bench! The rockets' weak bench will be their main weakness the entire playoffs.

Yao's stats looked good this game but he was frustrated to watch. 41points 12 rebounds, these stats supposed belong to yao not boozer. Yao needs to fire up his own a$$ and start dominate!

So you prefer an erratic Big Yao that give you 11 points (4/17 FG% 3/6 FT%)/12 rebounds in Game 1, and 41 points (17/30 FG% 7/9 FT%)/12 rebounds in Game 2, than a consistent Big Yao that is always there, giving you at least 25/10 ??

I'll take the latter Big Yao any day !!!

Get to thank everyone on the team. They really played hard. The only thing that need to improve is that T-Mac and Yao took too much shots. That will lower the offense efficiency of the team and is the main reason that we shot 36% tonight. If they could take less than 20 while keep going to the free throw line as much, that would have a easier win and have us going really deep in this season.

Yao's pick in this picture looks like a step dance. :D

I know little about setting screens, so for all these years, does Yao improve on this area? Frankly I saw him moving (leaning towards the guards) most of the time when he set screens for his teammates. Did those constitute as illegal screens?

I have to respectfully disagree. Matt Harping was playing starter minutes and was in reality, the 'starter' on the Utah team compared to Kirilenko. Put AK47 on the bench, and the Jazz bench equalled the Jazz bench in production.

I have to wait a couple more hours before I could watch the game at home.

I might be the minority here because I am genuinely happy with our players' performance in this game. Our Stars are having problems to find their shots and we still manage to come back from a 9-point deficit. It's our defence, hustles and hunger for rebounds that save us. Looking back to our regular season games, we can hardly come back in a game when both TMac's and Yao's shot are off.

Our players have raised their game to playoff level. Yao had another 4 offensive reounds (4 in game 1, don't forget he was playing against Jazz) tonight and that's some kind of determination to me. TMac was driving to the basket when we are chasing for our points, that's determination to me as well.

Battier's diving for the ball in game 1 and Chuck Hayes' offensive rebounds this game, I could honestly not ask for more from these warriors.

There are always some nights our shoots just fell short, what our players demonstrated to you this evening was that we could still hold on and win the game eventually even though we are not producing on the offensive end.

Now, just split the games in UTAH and knock them out in Game 5.

    GO ROCKETS!!!

Actually I like the shots they took, since no one else on our team could create their own shot more efficiently. Rememeber game 2 and 3 agains Suns in regular season? Yao was virtually taken out of the game, which was one of the main reasons the Rockets lost big. Fortunately, Sloan didn't utilize that strategy against yao, who managed to make 25+ pts in spite of poor shooting. But you know we are against another good defensive team and it is playoffs, so the FGP from both TMac and Yao are quite acceptible. More importantly, it won't be worse. :D

we haven't played very good for 2 games now yet we found a way to win. Rockets won't play 3 bad games in a row I don't think, I think our shooting will be about 48-50% in Utah in the first game. Yao will dominate to show boozer up on his home court

2-0, can't be happier. T-mac needs to keep attacking the rim, Yao needs to raise his FG% and dunk more. Other players need to make their 3s. Game 3 will be very very difficult.

i don't know why but i think barkley doesn't dislike the rockets, he hates the rockets. he's been dissing the rockets since they let him opened his big mouth on national tv. until recently he's still saying that they can't beat the jazz. and after utah lost the game 1 he had the audacity to call out boozer to perform. and the 41 pts in game 2. but fat ass, admit or not, the rockets are a better team than you ever gave them credit for. and they will win the series.

    go rockets!

Well, sure Boozer's numbers are impressive. But, you wouldn't worry so much if you look at how he got those points. I mean, about half of them are incredible 10 to 15 foot fadaway jump shots with hands in his face. Unless he is Kobe Bryant The Second, he won't be able to make these kinds of shots consistently. In a way, I can say we have taken the best blow from Boozer. Also, Yao missed a lot of easy shots which he normally make, his fg percentage is way below his average. But Yao still delivered 27 points. That just tells you Utah has no anwser for Yao and he is going to get even better as the series goes on. Finally but not last, TMac has been dominating, but you can tell he still hasn't quite found his shooting stroke. Just wait when both of these guys start to click, we will be heck of a team :D

DAMN! What a game. The rowdies were at full force yet again. The TNT camera man right after the game was mobbed by a bunch of Rockets fans and I was in that mosh pit. All the fans were chanting "Houston Rockets", and "Utah Sucks!" :D

What a great way to stick it to Barkley for Inside the NBA! :p
