Hopefully Tmac has learned his lesson from 2003 and 2005 and he and the Rockets will come out Thursday and step on their throats.

no, in fact the onus is on the jazz, find a way to stop tmac AND yao at the same time or end the season being swept

Tracy WILL have that big shooting game this series... He had it against the Mavs multiple times...

exactly. we'll see if tmac means business. 2-0 is nothing if it turns to 2-1. that means both teams did their job and protect HC.

T-Mac just needs to make a few more of his jumpers and he can drop 50 every night on these kids.

Nice attacking and getting free throws, and more importantly making them by T-Mac. That helped a lot in winning the game for us.

A win is a win, nice work Rockets!

now imagine if we had shot something better than, let's say... 17% from behind the arc.

we'd be a force if we could hit our open 3's with consistency.

Just glad we got game 2. Chucky Hayes was our player of the game.

    Boozer is a monster.....

For him to put up the numbers he did is amazing, the guy can ball. Both our stars had horrible shooting nights. This might have been enough to win against the Utah Jazz, but this will not cut it against the Suns/Spurs/Denver/Mavs.

T-Mac is having a really tough time just getting by that guy Giricek. It's not looking good. Then again I usually see the glass half empty :D

For everybody btching about the FG%.

Yeah, we sucked shooting tonight. But winners find a way to win. The Rox took their lumps and got the line 38 freakin' times! That's outstanding. They knew what was working and what wasn't and still scored 98 points. There's more to the game than FG% and the Rox did exactly what they needed to.

Boozer is a monster, but he is more a jump shooter... we need better way to defend him: he is doing catch-and-shoot and very high curve jumpers. Hard to defend

    VERY NICE HIGH FIVE!!!

We should be very proud to win both at home. Utah's goal was to split here. Now they go home down 0-2. The pressure's all on them. Too bad for them that the Rockets are arguably better on the road. NOBODY will intimidate us!

Chuck wasn't in foul trouble either. Even though he is shorter than Juwan i think he could have done a better defensive job against Boozer.

Did what we had to do. Take care of business at home. Now lets go on the road and get some wins.

Magic just said Utah will win 2 in their gym and bring it back to H-Town tied 2-2. Oh yeah I don't think so. The Rockets will take one of the two.

giricek is a good defender. he's 6-6, physical, and has good lateral quickness. we need t post tmac up against him. b/c tmac won't beat him off the dribble very often w/ the help coming for giricek.

We need to play more physical on this Jazz team, I get so annoyed by the hardass defense by Fisher and the other one guarding Tmac. And the play Harpring throws Deke on the ground.
