16.7% 3 point shooting on 24 attempts, giving up 41 points to Boozer, and coming out with the win, I'll take it!

 

Well, if you tell me we scored 98 on San Antonio I'd assume we won. Maybe not so much against the Suns or Mavs. We didn't shoot great, but we got to the line a lot and made our FT's and that made up for it.

 

90 - 98.... wow, exact same score with Orlando and Detroit.

 

I rather see him dunk the ball over Okur or Boozer

Yao and Mcgrady played "OK", not putting em down, they won the game... THey just didn't play to their best because of the bad fg%

Battier and Rafer did good in the end to help close this thing out, they also didn't shoot that well, but they came through for us.

Luther and Juwon didn't quite do well off the bench, 3 points between both.

Hayes was AWESOME.

Point is, we didn't play our best, but its good for the win. But if we want to pass the 1st round or 2nd, we have to play better

 

Huge win. Yao's got to bring his game to another level...

 

We did two things that the Jazz usually do well...Got to the free throw lines and made tons of rebounds.

I wish Yao was a bit more dominating inside. There were a few times where he could have went up and slammed it in. Even if he gets hacked, he really needs to demonstrate his power. I wish he threw his elbows around like deke and make opposing players respect him more (and not allow them to take cheap shots at him).

2nd game in a row and I still dont have much confidence in our role players, save Chuck Hayes.

And please dont play Yao + Juwan at the same time. It's a recipe for disaster, especially in 4th quarter, ESPECIALLY when Juwan is not making open jumpers. Chuck is better than Juwan at everything else. We are much quicker and better with Chuck besides Yao.

PHEEEEWWWW!!!!!!! The Rockets HAVE to step it up!!!!! Make open shots or else they will be coming back to Houston tied. We NEED to get one in utah and playing like they played tonight is not going to do it.

Houston we have a new Chucky. I've been waiting for a hustling, rebounding PF who can play good defense as well, for a long time. And he has a knack for being around the bucket for easy points. Oh Yeah!!!!!!! Man of the match by far.

 

I also think Hayes was really the difference maker in this game...

 

He seldom had a position that close to the rim. But his touch is definitely not at the best in this game.

 

good to see rockets win without playing at 100% however this will not be the case vs suns or mavs or spurs. Rockets need to pick it up next game and get in a proper playoff rhythm.

 

I don't think the Spazz are good enough to go 04-05 Mavs on us... and win the next 2 in a row
