    :00.0 Halftime
    :01.1 UTA - C. Boozer defensive rebound
:02.0 HOU - T. McGrady missed a 24-foot three-pointer from the top of the arc

    Despite
    • slow and poor start for Big Yao and Tracy McGrady in 1Q
    • Rockets shooting poorly (only 34.8% FG% and 11.8% 3-pointer),
    • an all-on-fire Carlos Boozer
    • Big Yao being scr@wed as usual by poor officiating to be with 3 personal fouls so far
The Rockets was only 2 points behind by 1H.

WHY all these pessimism ??

He was actually 1-6 last night...

but that 1 three he made last night was very clutch and pulled as away for good.

Down by only 2 and we're shooting 2/17 from the arc. Law of averages favors us big time.

One thing this team lacks is mid-range shooting from our perimeter guys. This is where a guy like Mike James would excel. Luther sometimes hits these but if we had like a Jon Barry who could fake that 3 and move in around 17 feet, it would do wonders for this team. Sometimes it seems like it's either poud it into Yao or shoot a 3.

They have gotten away from Yao-Tmac pick and roll.

They need to run Tmac-Yao pick and roll atleast 50 times in the second half.

I know it's a secret weapon and all and they like to hide it...

BUT when everything else you have on offense is sucking Godzilla and King Kong's balls combined, might as well unleash it.

I think Charles Barkley just said something right about Rockets: the Rockets need to stop shotting so many contested 3 pointers, instead they need to alway try to establish Yao first and let Yao decide the plan, if he's doubled then chances are our guards will get open 3s.

Bad shooting by the Rockets and to be down two is a good sign. I don't like the fact that Boozer is getting all the calls while Yao gets to be hammered at the other end.

On the bright side, we are only down by 3 and we haven't even started playing our ball.

A guy like Ricky Davis would be great right now. The Rox are down by only 2, so everything is cool

Yao is playing fine. Pretty efficient. 5/12 FG%, 2/2 FTM-A, 6 rebounds, and 0 turnovers. He just needs to get back on court.

Because that is what Utah is wanting the Rockets to do.......

This has been the Rockets issue all year, if they make 35+ percent of their 3s, they generally win.

    2-17.....is not so good.

pick and roll is pointless if our guys don't make shots. they'll always trap tmac hard. rotate the other big guy to yao.

i saw tmac drove hwenever he posted up or playing at the triple threat. no more pick and roll unless we see shots go in.

and yao needs to get deep position where all he does is flip the ball. i don't like the fadeaways, seem like okur can block it.
