This is funny because Bavetta screwed the Jazz over big time when they played the Bulls in the finals.

i just don't understand where coach RA's offensive game goes. there looks no difference between last year's playoffs and this year's. rox is still a team that you can shut down fully if tmac gets shut down. it is still a one-man team. didn't you guys all say we have more depth?

the plays he ran for tmac in the 4th were JVG-type plays.

tmac was tired. he can't get to the basket 25 ft doing pick and rolls. why not put him in the post so he has less distance to cover??

adelman needs to adjust really. but maybe he was afraid nobody else could handle the ball?

Well because Tracy likes to handle the ball to much.

But when we run our offense we are getting looks, good looks. The problem is - we can't knock them down.

Tmac played great until the 4th when he got tired. These are world class athletes... do they get tired in regulation? Kobe doesn't seem to. That's an argument for another day.

The possession that Tony Brothers made his horrible call on started with Tmac taking it to the hole for what looked to be a pretty wide open lay-up [I rewound this on the DVR about 4 different times] and then he mysteriously passed the ball to Scola who got fouled [wasn't called] and the ball ended up back in Tmacs hand on the baseline where the infamous crap call happened.

When Tmac drove in, Okur was standing a little in front of the basket with his hands straight up, i.e. I am not going to foul you and aloow the 2pt layup because we are up by 3 and I don't want to give you the chance for a 3pt play. Why Tmac dumped this off to Scola in the 1st place is a mystery to me.

It's little things like that [passing up a layup with 1 minute left in the 4th quarter of a huge playoff game] that separates Tmac from Lebron and Kobe and/or any other NBA superstar with a killer instinct.

Did anyone else notice this? Am I crazy?

if it is tracy that is a ball stopper then coach should sit him. then problem should be solved. why not? tmac played too many minutes in last 2 games.

adelman should lock these guys in the gym for 6 hours to ony shoot free throws...that was pathetic...

Chuck Hayes is the worst offenseive player in the history of the NBA

Bobby jackson is Mike James twin brother...why the F%#$# is he holding on to the ball until tehre is 3 seconds left on teh shot clock and then jacking up shots....

scola looked lost on defense...Okur schooled him last night....

nice defense at the end of hte half by brooks...like he isn't short enough already but he didn't even put his hands up on that 3 pointer at the buzzer by price....

can we get a waiver from teh NBA for Deke to wear gloves because that guy can't hold on to a ball to save his life!!!

oh and Aaron brooks...nice hesitation on that 3 pointer at the end of the half...let sjust wait till the defender comes at me before I shoot the 3...

i am so F$## %$# PISSED RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now if we had 3 different mcgradys then this would look so bad, but that is ridiculous

i think your observation is accurate and your assessment is fair.

this is why i say we'd lower the bar for mcgrady due to mainly his physical decline. he has changed. you wouldn't see him drop a pass under the basket in critical times a few years ago. for instance, game 2 in the dallas series, he told jvg NOT to call a timeout and confidently hit a last-second shot to win the game. what a difference a few years make...

Can someone post Battier's dunk near the end of the first half?

I think its the first time I saw him dunk and it was put back jam too.

It happened so fast so I am not even sure if he dunked it or not...

To me I think these 2 games were winnable if the rockets had a Tmac that was in condition to play 4 quarters. Name me a superstar that runs out of gas. This was suppose to be Tmac time and he can't even last 4 quarters. A guy that has a will to win doesn't run out of gas. You all seen what Tmac could do in the first half, he dominated. The problem is great players are able to sustain that effort for 4 quarters. They refuse to lose no matter what obstacle you throw at them. Tmac lacks this ingredient and that's one of the reason he hasn't gotten out of the first round.

b/c no other superstar is being asked to do what tmac is doing. is kobe being asked to rebound, defend in the post and defend all the players battier can't, playmake? no, he's asked to score and that's it.

he has odom to do all the other things. gasol for the low post scoring.

does lebron have to do everything? no. he has Z inside and others for defense.

yes, tmac should be super-human. we all want that. but it's not gonna happen if he doesn't just stick to what he does and do other people's job too.

I'm proud of our guys... they played hard! The one thing I am annoyed with is that BS call that negated Bobby's perfect, awesome 3.

Nothing has been done yet though, we WILL be okay!
    Believe in the Rockets! :D

Oh my goodness! I went to the game, and (like everyone else in the arena) had no idea why BJax's 3 didn't count. I just saw the ESPN replay... HOLY CRAP what a flop by AK. UGH! What a horrible call

On top of that. What the hell was that, Okur? He literally hammered the crap out of Scola. No flagrant? No suspension? What terrible refereeing!!!
