I've said it all year Luther Head is garbage. He's a one dimensional player. He makes a very good cut every once in while but he is here to shoot. If ur payed to shoot u shouldnt be as unnatrualy streaking as Luther Head. He cant handle the rock and cant pass. He's a turnover machine. I remember when JVG and Rick tried to play him at the point; it made me go insane

Did you watch the game? He dominated the first three quarters. Someone else needed to pick it up.

I guess our best game means we can make more than 50% 3s.

We couldn't make 3s in the first two games! To beat a team like Uath, you have to have good 3pt shootings.

From what I saw, the team played hard the entire game. Unfortunately, Utah is a deep, talented team. The Rockets showed plenty of grit, heart, and effort, but came up short.

So we have to play the perfect game to beat this team? The jazz had boozer in foul trouble, deron was injured, and harpring didnt even do anything. The jazz played well in spurts only and still won.

    That's true!

    But, Yao+Scola > Yao + Hayes > Scola + Hayes

I think that is why the rockets made a trade for Scola last summer.

    Unfortunately, Yao is injured.

Hopefully, Yao can keep healthy next postseason. Otherwise, the rockets need to rebuild.

make layups (i counted 7-8 open layups we missed), make fts (it's all mental -> notice how scola made all 4 of his last ones in the 4th and missed a ton in the first 3), rebound...

if we do 2 of those 3 things, we will win. i just hope we can weather the storm early in utah.

Was I the only one hoping and praying that somebody, anybody, could have gotten the ball to Battier during the 4th? I saw at least one play where he was wide open in his spot with his hands up waiting for a pass that never came.

I, a Chinese, don't agree with playing yao too much either. Actually I and many Chinese fans of yao also hate Chinese national team for playing yao too much on many meaningless commercial games each summer. That kind of act is politics and for money.

Most of We Chinese people also know that the interest of our country is higher than any personal thing because you are one piece of that country.
So does Yao know it very well. I solute to him for his great sense of responsibility.

back to the poster, he was not attacking the meaningless games that yao would not want to play. He was attacking China. How disgrace it is?

If the poster want to looking for excuses for a bad game by attacking yao and China, I have to applaud and say well done dude. You got it you f***** idiot.

We can't just give up on the Rockets yet. They played better tonight comparing to the first game. I hope they will play better every game forward. T-Mac played the best game I have seen him play. We need to support our team.
    Go Rockets!!

The Jazz is on their peak now, just like the rockets during the 22 winning streak.

Do you remember the Jazz played spurs, rockets, mavs, honets, nuggets in the last 6 regular season games, and they won 4 of 6?

I think the spurs don't want to play them without homecourt advantage for a reason!

You need to realize that making layups is not a easy thing when a team is playing against Utah; especially, we are a horrible freethrow team.

Last year, the spurs beat them because of the spurs' great 3pt shooting and Manu's great freethrow shootings during the 4th quarters.
