Well you're not exactly just born with high jumping ability (atleast to some extent) lol. You can work on your hops just so you know =p Liek isn't that how a lot of people are able to jump pretty high because they do all them jumping exercises, etc. I knew a few people that used to do it for awhile and eventually could touch the ring and eventually dunk it .

Not tonight he was. Utah is just a better team than Houston at this point in time. As a team, Utah is just put together better and tonight it showed. They are a team that reflects their coach's philosophy of basketball. They are a team that has been put together by a smart, stable organization that knows how to use the draft and how to find and sign good players and we all can see the result tonight. Rockets fought as hard as they could but in the NBA playoffs, it all comes down to the team with the most weaknesses getting exposed and tonight that team was the Rockets.

I do not like the style and attitude of TMac sometimes. But today, he already did his best. It is unfair to blame him. Actually, whole team played excellently well. Jazz is just a better team than Rocket. Even Yao was back, Rocket might win a few games in this round, but no guarantee for beating Jazz.

What do you expect when the the city of Utah collapses on him everytime he gets around his defender?

He had to look for the open man. When you see 3 players on you, you look for the open man, not the shot. Unfortunately, the rotation for Utah was easy. the man leaving his player to double McGrady gets covered by Chuck Hayes' defender.

RICK ADELMAN SUCKS WITH HIS ROTATIONS.

GAME 1, IT WAS IDIOTIC TO SUB IN MIKE HARRIS AHEAD OF LANDRY.

EQUALLY AS DUMB WAS PUTTING IN NOVAK TO MATCH UP AGAINST KORVER, I GUESS. I GUESS HE FIGURED WHITE GUY ON WHITE GUY/3 PT SHOOTER ON 3PT SHOOTER, AND NOVAK WOULDN'T BE A BIG A DEFENSIVE LIABILITY AS HE IS. .....WRONG. KORVER HITS LIKE 2 3'S AND ITS CURTAINS FROM THERE.

GAME 2, RA COMES BACK TO EARTH, AND PLAYS HEAD AND LANDRY. UNFORTUNATELY, HEAD COULDN'T THROW IT IN THE OCEAN.

NEVERTHELESS, HE LEAVES IN SCOLA FOR BASICALLY THE WHOLE 2ND HALF.

    BIG MISTAKE.

SCOLA IS GREAT, BUT HE TRIES TO DO WAYYYYYYY TOO MUCH WHEN HE GETS THE BALL. HE'S FULL STEAM AHEAD WITH THE UP AND UNDER DRIBBLE BEHIND HIS BACK NONSENSE. BY THE TIME HE GETS TO RIM, HE COMES UP SHORT.

EQUALLY AS BAD, HE SUCKS ON THE DEFENSIVE END. NUMEROUS TIMES, HE TRIES TO GUARD DERON AT HALF COURT, TRYING TO PESTER HIM/GET THE STEAL.

    WHATS THE POINT!?!!

DERON IS TOO CRAFTY WITH THE BALL, AND IF YOU REWATCH THE GAME, HE JUST MAKES THE PASS, THEN THERE'S AN EXTRA PASS, THAT LEADS TO A BOOZER LAYUP.

THE WAY THE ROCKETS ARE SUCCESFUL IS GETTING PRODUCTION FROM BOTH LANDRY AND SCOLA. YES, LANDRY HURT HIS KNEE A COUPLE OF WEEKS BACK, BUT ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE WHY LANDRY DOESNT SEE AT LEAST 10-15 MINUTES A GAME.

    HORRIBLE.

FURTHERMORE, OUR FRONTCOURT IS SMALL AS IS, AND THE JAZZ EXPLOITED THIS.

    WHERE WAS DEKE?

WHO CARES IF HE'S 48 YEARS OLD.

YOU DON'T WIN THIS GAME, YOU DON'T WIN THE SERIES.

PUT MOUNT MUTUMBO TO GUARD THE PAINT.

BOOZER WAS SETTLING FOR JUMPERS AGAINST DEKE, MINUS THAT ONE DRIVE TO THE HOOP, BUT WITH HAYES ON HIM, HE TOOK IT TO THE HOLE EVERYTIME HE GOT THE BALL.

    SOMEBODY SHOOT ME

    Man, a debilitating loss tonight.

It is NOT Tracy's fault at all. He played his heart out the entire game. It is not possible for one player to take on an entire team, therefore he fell apart in the 4th due to fatigue.

The foul by Scola on AK47 was a stupid flopping foul. Refs cannot call a foul like that in a game that close with that much time left. It is not right.

Furthermore, the hard foul by Okur was a flagrant foul. The refs need to learn how to ref a game.

As much as I want the rockets to win this series, the shining light at the end of the tunnel has slowly grown dimmer. The rockets do not have their entire team, obviously, and are barely losing. Without two key starters, it'll be hard to get anywhere for any team in the NBA, much less one starter being a superstar 7'6 center that can do anything.

Lastly, I hope the rockets learn to make free throws before Game 3 to make sure that if it goes down to the wire, the free throws do not come back and haunt us.

Overall, the better team will move on, but we all know, the Houston Rockets are playing short handed.

(Referees need to learn how referee basketball, not acting)

the game will be decided in the rockets favor if someone other than tmac can step up the offensive numbers alongside great team defence.

lol thats true, but we could risk getting swept? Though with the way we're playing it looks like that might happen unless we do something about it :S

Yeah that and Bjax getting his rhythm back. And also, Tmac is starting to find his shot.

And for people that are comparing Tmac to LJ,KB,CP etc saying he doesnt show up in the 4th. Well you got to understand, these guys have help. Tmac said in Press Conference that he had nothing left in the 4th. Why? Because he was doing pretty much EVERYTHING in the first 3 quarters. We couldnt get a single rebound, HE had to go get it. 2 big time blocks, HE had to play defense all by himself. 9 assists, HE had to create plays for others. The rest of the team was just terrible. Everything had to go through him. And in the fourth, Jazz realize that and just double/trippled tmac and made him give the ball up. What more can you expect from him? Tonight is the first time I've seen him play like a superstar that he is. He has had some great games, but this game he just put his team on his shoulder and played his heart out. And you want to put the blame on him? Come on now. I dont even see no rockets fans on this forum. All I see is a bunch of tmac haters waiting for him to make one mistake so they can go off on him. Please grow up.

It seems like Luther Head chokes when it comes to playoffs. He was very bad last year as well where all of a sudden in the playoff he couldn't make any 3's, and so far in the series the trend has not changed.

people need to recognize we're getting GREAT shots, even in the 4th when tmac is doubled. no way should we shoot 37% and 41%. our role players are unable to finish right now. it's a learning experience hopefully.

but hayes, please dude can't finish to save his life. he better be a 12th man next yr.

I never had confidence in Luther, and he proved that over and over again.

Brooks is fine, only if he can make some three's. Where is his three point shot, which was supposed to be his weapon (he beat Novak in a contest)?

What happened to Landry? Is he still injured? He seems to have disappeared.

Utah is a better team, when Houston does not have Yao and Rafer, who by the way is 10 times better than Bobby Jackson.

Luis played hard, but man he just does not have any athletism to finish around the basket. It was just painful to watch that.

It is really time to move Luther, Rafer, Hayes for solid players. Luther is not good, he just can't play well. He's had some games but he is useless in playoffs

He is r****ded in calling breaks as well. There are 12 players but he uses 8 or 9 each game, no matter how bad they play in court.

    Both teams played hard.

They're just better. Hopefully the Rockets don't give up, at least we can be proud of them for that.

they might be better, but we can play MUCH better. before this series, i want to see us play our best game. if we play our best game and lose, i'll be proud of that fact.
