well, not if you had to do EVERYTHING in the first 3 quarters, which he also did in game 1.

he had 20, 6, 7 by the end of 3 quarters in game 1.

if you ever watched basketball, you would never see a guy dominate both ends of the floor, playmaking AND scoring for an entire game.

plus, tmac is not the most durable guy to be able to dominate every second of the game.

Agree with you 100%. I do not understand why Rocket did not trade him.
    I miss Bonzi Wells.

In Game Three and Four, TMAC will go for 47pts in AK's face.

Well... nite guys. I hope we can at least take one in Utah. The Rox deserve a chance to play in their home court again. And stop the blame game... this year the Rox have had a ton of bad luck with injuries. It happens. What can you do?

officiating was horrible. There were bad calls against chuck, Scola that were key in this game.

I think no matter what happens this will make the rox stronger and health preserved--next yr we will be a top 3 seeded team and in the finals

Wow ur just being a TMAC hater. The man played his freakin heart out. The reason he had 1 point was because the Jazz were sending four guys at him and hacking him. He is the reason why the rockets r even in the game. U kno basketball is the ultimate team sports and if his teamates would have hit layups the defence would have loosened up. When T-Mac wants to he can be a top 5 player in the league

Actually I agree with the poster. Well, I'm not rooting against China out of spite, but the less Yao plays this summer the better.

You don't have to convince me finding esxcuses with some stats. I'm not one of the many who wants Tracy to be traded. But facts are pretty clear and facts says ONE single point in a close game, 3 in the final quarters of the 1st two games.

"Refs tried to give that one away. Good job Utah." -Random Jazz fan.

Good joke? I hate to say it so early in my post count, but these referees are some of the worst I have ever seen. The Jazz are a solid team, however.

The Jazz: Well composed team with key components to make a playoff push. Can't discredit them for making the easy ones and fighting for every loose ball. Kirilenko had a poor offensive game, but played some good defense on TMac. The rest of the team was stellar.

The Rockets: Great effort by McGrady. It has been said to death, work on your free throws (the whole team). It is pretty clear he came out wanting to win this game, but unfortunately, I believe, his teammates were not up to the challenge.

Luther Head was atrocious. 0-4 from the field and a few bad decisions in 12 minutes does not equate to a strong bench.

Luis Scola played relatively well, but his free throws were dismal, as well as a few missed lay-ups.

Our point guard situation is probably our most dire weakness. 7-17, 2 assists will not cut it for a starting PG, although Aaron played well. But he still only had two assists like Bobby.

It's not time to quit on the series, we've seen stranger things, but I for one have already convinced myself this year's playoff aspirations are dwindling.

It's a good feeling knowing I do not have to stress about the Rockets anymore. Time to enjoy the rest of the Western Conference Playoff race.

And ur bringing Dwade in to equation. Give me TMAC over DWade anyday, Did u watch the NBA this year Dwade is not the same player. He led the Heat to the worst record in the NBA. There's a reason TMAC takes too many jumpshots because if u dont the ware and tear of nba will eventually get to u.

He should start if Rafer's not available.

Brooks can penetrate the defense, and having Shane Battier and Deke behind him is good insurance should Williams get by him (which should be frequently).

He can hit the 3 as well. Just need the jitters out.

scola, i thought, got an especially raw deal from the refs.
seemed he got ticky tack calls against him, and just got hammered on the other end for no call. that alone made the game not any fun to watch for me.

AB had a few bright spots though.

in the end i was just hoping Tracy could dominate. then i realized, that he was the only thing that had worked offensively the whole game.

that said, between ft and three pointers, this game was very winable.
utah also got a few breaks, bounces of the ball, etc.

i am still excited to see game 3. want to see what we do in that one.
