First of all, TMAC is great. But again, Yao is equally important.
It's not surprising that many guys on this planet don't know what is logic.
2-9 without TMAC, it's true. Does this mean TMAC is more important? The answer is No. Without feed, center (even Dream) can not go anywhere, while go small still can win some decent games. But dominance in the paint is really something makes this team close to a title. It's essential to an ambitious team which plans not only the first round of playoffs. Not many dominant big fellows are available, compare to the availability of guards. TMAC is so great, I can not agree any more, he is the player to decide rhythm and he is the base of this team. But Yao is not his role player.

I hope you can see the reduction to absurdity here, though a little bit exaggeration: Without food, water and air, soldiers starve to death, achieving nothing; without sword, soldiers can still somehow fight, but no hope to triumph. Do you think food, water and air are the No. 1 element? Biologically, maybe it is, :)

Regarding "Yao needs somebody to feed him the ball and Tmac is the only one who can ensure that", don't you think it's TMAC's job to assist(I agree, TMAC has done a good job)? If ONLY TMAC could pass the ball to Yao, this is JVG's problem. BTW, as you have said, only TMAC can pass to Yao, how come you back up your point and blame Yao with the so called 2-9 win? Really ridiculous.

who is is Rocket_**** guy? So did you see in the second qtrs when TMAC back to court, then Jazz made their run to extend their lead?

    Get out of here, hater..

Is this a joke? We only WON the first game of best 4, now some people here already think we accomplish something and start arguing whose team....

who cares, who give the win, own the team

Hehe... the funny thing is, I don't thing Yao and Tracy even give a *bleep* whose team it is. They let their bball do their talking, and they only want to win, regardless of who becomes the No. 1 option. Thank god for their unselfish mentality. However, we ain't thanking god for the mentality of some (highly irrational) fans on this board. Fortunately, this (highly irrational) fans are only a very very small minority. Perhaps they should all be shipped off to some island to play Battle Royale among themselves.

In playoff, either TMac or Yao sucks, we lose, both play strong, then we win, we are all rocket fan.

let's stop this. we need to start talking about what we should do for game 2. jazz won't shoot this bad again.

we need to make A LOT of adjustments ourselves.

game 2 is huge. if we lose, game 1 is nothing.

Rockets need to step up and be more aggresive on the boards... Whats sad is that our PG Rafer Alston the shortest guy on the court had the 2nd most rebs (11) in our team... the rest needs to step up because 2nd game will be hardcore....

Then you didn't watch the game closely enough. He was on the floor 4 or 5 times.

    What a lame comment.
Both Yao and TM are important for rox to win this series, like Kobe and Shaq did for LAL several years ago. The combos from big two will decide how long rox will go in playoffs. W/o Yao's contribution, rox would dig a deeper hole after 1st half other than only trailed by 9. TM's play in the 3rd should be his normal level coz he is a top scorer in the league.

Btw, stirring **** up under a new registered ID is not cute at all. Be smart next time.

How if Boozer becomes more gressive in Game 2, will Yao still be able to handle him well?

I think Boozer was trying to be aggressive but Yao just wouldn't let him get off. Yao just OWNED the paint last night.

Was anyone at the game!? It was loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When T-Mac started hitting, the whole arena exploded. Best part was when we were down after the half and took the lead. What a night!!

The Red Rowdies are freakin' awesome. They came up to the 400 area and walk around making noise before the game started giving high fives and chants to everybody.

Section 404-405 was great! We were chanting "Houston
Rockets", "MVP", "Yao Ming - Yao Ming", "
Bulll Sh*t", and "Utah Sucks!" :D

Even after we won, the fans were still going nuts with the chants. They were even chanting when I was trying to get down to the 1st floor. WHen I finally reahed the 1st floor, the fans were still making noise at the entrance of the arena. LOL! :D

What a night! I think my voice is still shot after that. Oh well! Save the energy for Monday guys cause I'll be back for Game #2!!

well if you have a dominat big man like yao your role players have to be scorching because your big man will be doubled.T mac is one of the best wing players in the game with alot of range and play making ablitly. We need both to go far in the playoff's and they know that.

Well then they better watch out not letting Yao be pissed and aggressive. A pissed Yao, the guy we saw in last Sun's game, will be equal to whole Utah team.
