ur fooling yourself. jazz are a good team. they're not gonna shoot this bad every game.

and plus, they still out-rebound us. if we don't fix that, we're screwed.

    and they're physical.

I saw boozer defend yao a lot. It must wear him down a bit. So it's not superise that his shoot dont fall. another meaning of kill you on both ends.

Now I know, our X factor is Tmac

To be honest, it's not a good game for Yao and Tmac. But we win.

Hope the games after this will be easier, we need easy win ,not like this.

Great win! We defended greatly in the 2nd half, and got lucky at a few points. But hey, sometimes it is better to be lucky than good.

With the playoffs gitters out of the way, I'd expect a better game for the 2nd game from both teams. Doesn't matter though, Rockets will still come out on top.

i must admit i was gettin a lil frustrated with tmac and just about everybody except yao.

now i'm able to sleep peacefully tonight :)

    but ya ...
a lot of ppl sayin how battier wasn't as good as in regular season?
well i guess his shot was fallin as often and wutnot but he did what he usually does. im not sure i could tell that that much of a difference.

and ya, i dont think we'll be able to contain the jazz frontcourt so efficiently throughout the series. we're gonna need some serious all around play by tmac and better shooting by our shooters.

and quick question ... did fisher like step on something to cause him to miss the layup or did he simply just miss it?

I think he just missed it. Inexplicable I know. Reminds me of Chuck Hayes! :)

Even had he made it, it wouldn't have mattered. T-Mac was going to own that second half. Let's hope he does it for two halves next game.

i'm worried of Rafer has to play 46 minutes a night, hopefully there can be a lead in the second or 3rd where lucas can spell him for even 3 or 4 minutes would be huge.

some people have said "an ugly win"..true in many respect, but i liked how we didn't give up. we just need to counter their rebounding skills a bit more....i think we do best when yao dominates the first half as he usually does...and let t-mac just take over. hopefully he won't go 0 for 6 every night but if we get him to dominate the second half like tonight then hell.......

I think the early rest that Yao and TMac got helped a lot. When Tmac's in a zone and into it, his defense is ridiculous. You almost get the feel that no one's going to get a shot off when he's on you like that. The refs actually let some calls go late in the game, and it was physical.

Anyone else think that Harpring is a thug?

Yao's defense freezes boozer's goal effort
