TMAC please get some points. This is outright embarrassing.

 

Why would they change their strategy...They know Tmac will fade if you're just physical with him, and it's working to the tune of a 9 point lead....I don't expect anything to be different in the second half.

 

TMAC better deliver in the second half, otherwise he will be on every talk show host's joke. Time to play tough. From history, TMAC doesn't play well when being defended by tough tough defenders. Unfortunately Utah has quite a few on him...

exactly. in such a low scoring game, TO's will kill you.

 

I would prefer T-Mac to make the play for others other than score himself, He is too cold today after the national TV show.

 

The people that are saying, FIRE JVG, TMAC SUCKS! Those people. That's not criticism. That's just a bunch of fair-weathered fans. Yet when T-Mac lights it up in the 2nd half, those same people are like TMAC IS A GOD!

 

No one except Yao is shooting well. We're getting outrebounded too.

 

And here I thought the Rockets had the veteran team with more playoff experience. The Jazz looks like they have been to the playoffs before.

Seriously stop passing the damn ball and assert yourself as a scoring threat.

Walton's right, when you average 30 PPG in the Playoffs you shouldn't have only 1 at the mid way point

Not too worried about TMAC.....yet. But he needs to come out with a big second half.

A previous poster was absolutely correct in saying the Jazz are smart to put a little plug like DFish on him to force him to "find" his outside shot. Let's hope TMac finds it in the next 24 minutes.

 

i dont understand what the rockets are doing on offense. when yao gets the ball he's got to ready to do something with it, and that doesnt always mean shoot it. find some open teammates when they double and triple team you PLEASE.

why are they running a pick n roll with shane battier ? we arent setting good screens AT ALL. put a body on them people.

i dont know what to say about t-mac, but i'm still not that worried about him. it seems like its easy for utah to clog the lane up with yao down low, so maybe we need some high screen rolls with t-mac and yao and just let t-mac do his thing. pounding the ball in to yao isnt working right now because hes not getting good position and when hes so far outside the paint its easy to double and triple him and still be able guard the 3 point line.

anyway, im not that worried.

 

I don't understand what's going on. I mean, a guy this skilled cannot be held scoreless for a half. The only reason why i watch the rockets is because of tmac

 

Home court between two such closely matched teams is pretty much meaningless, IMO. Not to mention of course that we're not a very good team at the TC from past playoff experiences.
