Kirilenko is able to help on Yao because the person he's supposed to guard (Battier) is not an offensive factor. All I can say is hope Battier hits his threes. I have confidence in him.

Why are we committing stupid fouls?

Good to see Rafer making an open shot there...

we're ok because of a horrible start, no score from mac, lost lead, and were tied.

sooner or later tmac will put up a bunch of points and our defense will tighten up and we will have a nice lead.

    wtf is head doing?

and tmac is passing right now b/c they're having 2-3 guys shadow him everytime he puts the ball on the floor. obviously he doesn't want to shoot Js bc they're not on right now. take what the D give u tmac. don't force anything

I see what Utah are doing with McGrady: they're completely blocking his pathway so that he has to pass the ball or take an outside shot. The lengthy Utah players are making it tough to penetrate into that lane. They're basically 'shadowing' him with another one or two players to block him from going to the basket. At least so far, he's passing the ball well but we will need his offense eventually.

The key as usual: role players making open shots. Plain and simple.

As for Utah, excellent defensive strategy, they came prepared and ready to fight. All the pressure is on us to win on our homecourt, Utah has nothing to lose.
