If Carl Landry is going to be a zero in the playoffs then the Rockets have no chance whatsoever. We need Landry to start playing the way he did before he was hurt. He was a huge reason for the streak.

I think the Rockets in general need to match Utah's physical play with some shoving and elbowing of their own.

Pretty sad to see T-Mac not be able to drive past either Harpring or Korver one on one. No wonder why the Rockets couldn't get easy shots in Game 1. I guess T-Mac's first step is worse than it used to be.

Oh yeah, and better play at the point please.

Sucks that the Spurs can score on Utah at will and the Rockets can't.

They've been scouted ... They stick to him like glue. Landry really hasn't been effective against a playoff team except Dallas since Yao has been out. It could be that he hasn't recovered from his injury but I think he fed of the attention Yao got more than we like to admit.

I agree about 2nd chance points. That's where Landry needs to come in and rebound on the defensive end.

As for FT's, Jazz missed a bunch as well. so I feel that was less of a reason.

There's no reason to believe the Rockets free throw ineptness will change but they should not let the Jazz hammer them on the glass like they did in the first half of Game 1.

Everyone gets scouted down in playoffs. Landry surprised a lot of people in regular season but that element of surprise will vanish in the playoffs.

Jazz know where he likes to get the ball and what he likes to do once he gets the ball.

It will take time for Landry to adjust. He is just a rookie after all, so we shouldn't put too high of expectations on him.

scola and shane was amazing i hope they can do the same thing for the rest of the playoff games. I hope brook can take it to the paint more. Landry need to get more touches and minute and i think he back to %100 or close to that mark.

    * Tmac came out passive looking to pass instead of kill and everyone else besides Jackson and Scola looked passive

    * Energy was low, they play as if it was November instead of April

    * Shane and Novak D on Kirelinko made him look like a superstar.

    * Novak's D on anyone looks pathetic, promptly got lost on a pick for Kover

    * I loved Deke's D

    * Disappointed everytime I see Chuck in the game. I know our +/- is extremely negative when he's in the game.

    * Scola, please stop traveling and pump faking so much. Had a wide open layup and went for the reverse.

    * Rookies - welcome to the NBA playoffs, set up or sit down

I really thought we would be able to hold our own at home. I thought our young guns would be nervous in the 1h, but would get better as the crowd got behind them in the 2nd half. Just didn't work out.

Unfortunatley, I think it will only get tougher. If the young guns were this nervous at home, they are going to see a whole other level @ Utah.

Why did the team give up so easily in the fourth?

Millsap was a rookie last year and did quite well. Why can't we expect Landry to play like him. If the Rockets lose this series, oh well, but I hope Landry is able to make some sort of impact. Of course Millsap plays with Deron Williams and Landry plays with garbage. Maybe my expectations were too high.

that's a great question? WHY? And I even think they gave up earlier - just after Korver nailed those 2 3s.

That's what was so frustrating about that game aside from the missed shots. Last time I checked, a game is 48 minutes. I think they might have won it if they played w/ passion like Scola Battier and Deke.

WHen they came back in the game I was so excited. I was even sure we were gonna win it, really. Why? Because we showed a great PASSION, heart, effore. Tracy was so agressive, he was making great plays, decisions.

But as I said, after two stupid mistakes on defense which changed into Korver's 2 3s in a row we GAVE UP.

    That's all
