    In game two, we need:

    1. More Brooks. He was getting to the rack at will. Didn't matter that he wasn't hitting shots, he was at least creating them for others.
I'm a fan of Jackson, but under no circumstances should he be playing 30+ minutes. Never. Maybe 5 years ago, but not now. He's an energy guy, and he won't have energy if he plays as many minutes as he did tonight.

    2. More offense run through Scola. Scola looked pretty good going up against Boozer at times.

    3. A more assertive Battier.

    4. A T-Mac who drives the WHOLE game, not just the first half.

Because Utah is a great home court for the Jazz and they really don't lose there.

Now that they have game 1, the know they can lose game 2 and still have the series in the bag.

They can play relaxed in game 2 and probably blow the Rockets out.

So a 4 game sweep is highly likely at this point.

It's a hard fact to take but thems are the breaks. The biggest being Yao's foot. Man this could have been a pretty good playoff season....

The rox don't want a gritty, hustle, skillful guy that can create his own shot and that for other. The rox don't want a guy that cause matchup problems for the other team. The rox don't want a damn near madman that strike fear in the other teams when the game get rough like tonight. They don't want this regular season chemistry to be altered. give me a effin break.

No, the loss is on Yao. If he was playing the Rox might have had a chance.

Utah is just too talented and the Rockets are just missing too many pieces. Did nobody else notice that everybody in the national media chose the Jazz to win this series?

Millsap did a lot of damage in only 10 minutes. The problem is when Boozer or Okur get in foul trouble Millsap comes in ...

I wouldn't say Bobby Jackson is done, but once the playoffs are over it doesn't really matter... he will have good value as a semi-large expiring contract in a month or two.

No. He's not a starter-level point guard (he's not really a point guard - he used to be like a rich man's Eddie House back in Sactown). However, neither is Rafer Alston, or Luther Head, or Aaron Brooks (I'll give him a pass b/c he's a rookie).

You think we can win 2 out 3 in Utah if we are down 0-2? In Utah, we will go 0-3 most likely, 1-2 at best.

Next game T-Mac has got to stay aggressive throughout. He played well in the first half/first 3 qtrs., but then he got complacent.

I just don't think we have enough talent and enough weapons to pull this series off. I hope I'm wrong but it's going to be woefully difficult.

No need to get creative here. We talk a lot about how subbing in Novak would be great (look what happened tonight) or how Brooks can be really good (Williams took it pretty easy on him).

It has to come down to Tracy McGrady. He is the superstar and he creates plays and inspires. When he is being aggressive, the whole team is too.

He disapeared in the 4th quarter. Let's be honest, this is deja vu. Maybe he's just not that good anymore. Maybe he isn't an all star (averages only 21 points on some crappy %, can't make FT). But I think we need to take off the homer glasses and look at if our star player can really inspire this team or not. I just don't see it in him anymore, sorry.

Scola and Landry are rookies (old, but NBA rookies nonetheless). They are going up against Boozer, who is one of the best PF in the league.

I feel helpless against this team. It doesn't seem like the Rockets can do anything but play out of their minds for them to win even just a game. I dont think we can have a bad game or it's a sure loss. Even just having a marginal game we will most likely lose. We either need to be on top of our games or it's a sure fire loss. They're just too talented for us.

There was about a 5 min span where we could not grab anything off the glass. Just embarrassing. That's why we need Deke in there though.

I think Scola had done everything he could tonight except some easy lay-ups.

Good post. You along with badgerfan have put up some of the sanest posts in this thread.

We are overmatched not only in terms of talent, but in terms of experience. Not only can you make a legitimate argument that the Jazz's #1 guy is better than our #1 guy, but you can extend that all the way down to the Jazz's #2, #3, and #4 guys.

I think we can eek out a win or 2, but I wouldn't be surprised if we got swept either.
