We officially had 11 missed FT's and 16 missed or blocked layups. That's 43 potential points left on the floor. And that doesn't take into account the "and 1's" that should have been converted. If we make even half of those then we win the game by 10+. We take the easy shots and make them difficult.

I thought he played pretty well for the first half. After we got down ten though he started settling for outside shots. It's got to be tough on him though when we have to run every single play through him in order to have a chance to score.

Jazz is just a better team than the rox. If we were to win, we have to play exceptionally well.
things are not looking good for us.

Great help for McGrady Shane and Scola...Adelman should know what to do with them, just damn say them what you think about it.

Now we gotta win game 2, can we damn score 100 in that series? You cant win game with 3 people playing well. 83 points can't happen again cause if it happens it will be quick 4-0.

With no 3 point threat and no low post threat, the Rox will have difficulty scoring, even if McGrady has a great game. Rox will be fortunate to extend this to 5 games.

Completely agree. If we convert on those and leave Deke in longer to help out in the paint we could have easily won that game. This sucks!!!

Too nervous. Simply so many rookies in the team and don't expect they can handle the playoffs in one night. The rockets still have chances, don't be so pissed off and so mean to our players.

For all the critics of Novak, I do hope you have a little bit more patience. This guy is as pure a shooter as you can dream of, you get to invest in him more until turn to other direction. It isn't like we lost the game because of him anyway...

Bobby Jackson, geez. Countless ill-advised shot after shot.

Steve Novak, geez. His defense on Korver lost us the momentum

Free throws. All season, an issue.

Why did the offense not even look for McGrady in the 4th? Geez.

Utah's bench killed ours. We got no production from our backups.

McGrady was poised to carry the team and then they went off and ignored him. WTF was that all about? This was a let down loss if I've ever seen one.

I took off the "homer glasses" and enjoyed the game. I loved how Deke again turned to the fountain of youth for a quarter. Scola was battling and fighting. TMAC was driving and dishing. Battier was hitting shots.

    Utah - Williams (star), Boozer (star), Okur (above average), Harping (above average), Kirlinko (above average);

Utah is way more talented. I'll be happy if we don't get swept.

Why was Tmac wearing that stupid looking shoulderpad? I have never seen such a thing on an NBA player, makes him look weak and fragile.

you've obviously never seen Dwyane Wade play.

Bobby Jackson shot too many 3s.
If we were going for 3's Luther should have been in earlier.

Tmac played sensationally for the majority of the 3rd quarter. Made me feel good to see him back me up after there were heated discussions as to his credibility with my LeBron loving brother.
I'm his biggest fan. I do not know what he was doing in the fourth quarter..

    On a side note..
Is it annoying to anyone else to hear the female commentator jumping all over Harpring for his defensive effort on the one play at the top of the key on Tmac during the fourth? When he grabbed him, and hit him with his left arm as McGrady tried to go right?
    I'm angry..
But i'm still a Rockets fan.

o ok, but come on dont put Novak in if its not scrub mins, he has no D, Korver busted 2 3's on his ass and Kirelenko made an easy layup over him, RA should of took him out if that was the case.

"knuckle head" Alston, retiring Jackson, rookie Brooks, they are our PGs, can we expect they carry Rockets to win a champion? If the team with the starter PG who has a stats as bottom 5 in 30 teams win a champion, is this possible?

Rockets will go nowhere as scottish Alex being the boss.
