Novak did suck ass. I felt like punching Adelman in the face for that substitution... BUT he is not the main reason rockets lost... consider he only played for like 5 minutes.

BJ and AB on the other hand............

Some of you guys are pathetic. THey can go from "TMAC, F-ING DRIVE IT DONT SHOOT, to WE ARE PLAYING THIS GAME TOO CAREFUL, SHOOT 3S" in a horrifying 5 min. It's funny reading these guys post.

TMAC MISSES- We lost this quarter.
TMAC GOT BLCK - GAME 1 GONE (now it is)
BROOKS MISSED LAYUP - SERIES OVER, SO WHO DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD PICK IN THE DRAFT.
GAME1 LOST - WE ARE SWEPT, EVERYONE

    Jesus...

We got dominated in every facet of the game. The jazz outplayed us everywhere.

Bobby Jackson you are a freakin scrub. Head too.

Jazz win this one in 5

Cant blame them for effort. Cant blame them for hustle.

Can blame them and blow their heads off for missed FTs.

Luther Head's passes are so badly telegraphed that I could reach in thru my TV and get some steals.

I said it last year, I will say it again for this year... AK47's defense is the X-factor in this series. He makes it incredibly hard for Tmac and others to get to the rim and score. His length also covers the 3 point line for the Jazz.

yeah i mean we're missing 2/5 of our starting lineup
with one of those guys being the best center in the league

all in all i still love this team, they showed some fight and heart, and t-mac played aggressively and well, but we're just overmatched physically and talent-level wise

no matter how the rest of the series goes i'm still proud of what this team did this season

Can't and don't argue with that, just don't blame the FT for all. The layups, the missed rebounds, the TOs, we are just flat out out-talented. I see Scola, Brooks and Battier as positive.

I have a bad feeling about this... without Alston our offense looked lost. BJax tried to give us that scoring punch off the bench... problem is he wasn`t coming off the bench and he wasn`t making his shots and didn`t really involve the other guys. Scola had a good game, but our other rookies (and i include Novak) just couldn`t work with the playoff atmosphere. T-Mac played well in stretches but disappeared in others.

All in all our defense was all right, our rebounding really sloppy at the beginning but ok at the end, but our offense was not organised. We need Alston back rather sooner than later!

hope the rafer haters are happy........you guys finally realize we're a better team with him??? bjax goes 3-15, double dribbles, cant even handle a simple lead pass for an easy lay up and instead knocks it out, then you got aaron brooks trying to change hands in mid air for a lay up............

sure the rockets might not have won, but would've had a much better chance.

The point guard position is still the main problem, but its still obvious Tracy will not pay the price to be a champion. He will have to ride a couple of other players coat tails to get there.

He took 3 shots in the second half. That say I DONT WANT TO PAY THE PRICE, I QUIT. :(

I think the turning point was when RA put Novak in and Korver burned him for those two threes. The momentum completely shifted the Jazz's way after those buckets.

Deke needs to play as long as possible next game because we're getting torn apart down low. We really killed ourselves for the majority of the game. Blown layups, dropped passes, and missed free throws cost us the game. The Jazz just executed much better than we did.

Bobby Jackson is a terrible PG... the double dribble, missed chance before the half to cut into the lead and swing momentum, the jacks from 3 pt land.

Utah absolutely destroyed the Rockets in the paint and on the glass.

Houston missed too many FTs / missed too many layups in a game of this magnitude.

Didn't like the way Tracy played at the end of the game, spiking the ball after Brooks turnover. And then fouling out at the end of the game just so he could go sulk on the bench. Grow up Tracy please, you played like garbage in the fourth quarter when your team needed you.

that's not the mystery... the mystery is why, the hell, does utah's white player make his shots, and our white boy can't make any. :p

but... the game was right there for us to take. too bad, we didn't take advantage. if i was the coach... i would have a 5 hour practice, and nothing but free throws, and then another 2-3 hours just watching the game from start to finish. and 30 minutes of going over stuff.

Postive side: they won't always like that, and if they make shots next game, we will win.

In fact, the Jazz is not that good! If we played the suns or the spurs and our players' shootings were so off, we would lost by 30pts!

Bobby Jackson pretty good defense against Williams in the first half, but he was a real liability on offense. 3 of 15, two completely unforced turnovers and just a complete inability to to get the offense going. Once Utah put Kirilenko on McGrady, it was over. Great game by Shane, at least. It's a pity we wasted his efforts.
