It's just how hard to believe we dead freaking last in it though. After the jumpshooting Raptors and Suns, Bobcats..come on. We have nearly the same team in terms of non-stars last season and then we were middle of the pack in getting calls.
Did that 4-0 road trip already get to their heads?? Play some defense damnit and why in the world is Budinger on Millsapp ???
agreed, except not only is Martin not playing, but he wasn't getting calls this season anyways. It kindve seems that Scola, Lowry and Martin all aren't receiving their fair share of calls for FTs this season. I don't know if the league said "be careful with certain guys" due to flopping and all, but I swear... I know its not a Stern thing or whatever... but it is fishy that we went from the top of the list to the bottom in 1 season with mostly the same players.
Nope, then we had Kevin Martin, who was among the league leaders in getting to the line, and we had a much more aggressive Kyle Lowry, who has become essentially a facilitator and jump shooter this year. We don't have a single player who consistently drives except Parsons (and Dragic, but he tends to dribble through Nash style rather than actually going to the rim). I believe that superstar calls are very real and they're a big disadvantage to us, but the officiating problem is leaguewide, not Stern f**king with Houston.
