This loss hurts for an extended time period because our next game is like 3 days away.

    My thoughts on the game:
Yao was great. I can't believe so many people on this board are saying they want more from him and that he shouldn't get so tired in the 4th. Without his performance tonight, we get blown out. I was a bit dissappointed with T-Mac, not because of execution of the last play, but mainly because of his offensive efficiency lately. His shot has been way off and he needs to drive and dunk instead of these soft layups he's missing or try to get to the FT line. Though I've really liked T-mac's defense lately. Rafer was Rafer. I can see why so many people here dislike his play, but I don't put blame soley on one person like others here. Rafer is the best we have at PG and we have to deal with it and hope he shoots at better percentages. Chuck was awesome tonight. I wish JVG wouldn't have stayed so long with JHo towards the end of the game. JHo had a couple of good moments with some put backs, but I think Chuck would have been better.

One play that was close and frustrating was towards the end where they gave Boozer an AND1 when it looked like Battier was their to draw another charge. Man is it frustrating to get Out-Free-Throwed by them. We have 2 superstars to their supposed 0 superstars and they shoot 10 more free throws than us. Tough loss, but I hope our players are angry and can learn from this loss.

To put it quite honestly, we're lucky the game was as close as it was.

Only three of our players scored more than 6 points.

    That's awful.

Watch JVG's press conference. Yao's defense was not up to par in the end. That contributed to the loss. Why does that make me a YOH?

I wonder if fatigue had anything to do with the collapse of his defense. He may need to start chewing some ginsing gum through out the game from now on!

Snyder was horrible tonight. No points, a turnover, and several missed assignments defensively. Lucas gave us absolutely nothing also.

When Rafer shoots less than 50% from the field and less than 40% from the 3 point line, we basically have a 50/50 chance to win the game. We're basically a .500 team when Rafer shoots poorly.

no one can ever complain again about rafer hating.

so what if he doesn't turn it over every play. so what if he can actually pass it to Yao / tmac.

I've never been to jail. I feed my kids.

Rafer is a cancer on this team. every time we loose, I see his numbers say 1 for 10 or 2 for 12. I can't understand why his percentage isn't a whole lot lower.

why is jvg letting rafer take 10 to 15 shots when he can't hit the rim?

there has to be some sort of extortion going on.

does rafer practice? can he hit shots in practice? can he hit those lame floaters in practice?????

the sad thing is that they are wide open three's.

He can't hit wide open shots. He can't even make a layup.

rafer would have never been on the court at the end had Luther been available. It would have been a pick and roll with Mcgrady driving and kicking to luther or shane or taking himself. need luther back
