Although he doesn't get much help from the officials, Yao really is his own worst enemy sometimes. :(

Yea... agreed... when he has 2 fouls, he needs to be more judgemental on his decisions to go after loose balls, and help on players that he really has no chance of getting to cleanly.

before Ming picked up his 3rd with tracy out they only called one play for Ming.

that guy picks up fouls like a bad case of rash, you need to get him the ball as much as possible when he is in the game because the next foul is right around the corner.

that goal tending call on Yao was totally B.S. Yao almost exploded there. I wish he had shout "B.S" to a ref's face and scare the **** out of him.

His third call was questionable too. That guy lost balance and fell on Yao before Yao put his hands on the ball.

Did I not tell you NBA refs are a bunch of freaking blind men. That block by Yao is not even close to a goaltending....the ball was release and Yao block it instantly....rediculous.

This game reminds me of some early season ones... with all the missed wide-open shots.

The key difference, of course, is that we KNOW that these guys can actually make open shots eventually.

that ref at Rox baseline must be a rox hater. He gave the ball the Jazz twice when clearly the ball went out bound off Jazz. The first one was so blatant. I think a tape should get him suspended.

0-11 from three-point range really tells the story. Early on, with McGrady hot, the Rockets were making the Jazz look like a CBA team ... but they just can't hit the long ball when open.

Man that Motombo dude always have to wait like 2mins for him to put the ball up everytime? Everytime he got the ball and was wide open he had to wait awhile before he put the ball up? That's rediculous.

By the way, i am very impressive with Mike James. WOW, the Rockets got a real deal player. His defense and quickness is tremendous. He's not making shots yet but his fundamental and understand the game is what i impressed most. He looks and reminds me of Tim Hardaway except better defense. I think he could take over Sura as the starter. He looks that good!!

it's proabably just first game jitters, but James passing -definately low post passing- and defense hasn't been very impressive. Combined that with lack of Sura like rebounding pretty much makes him a backup PG.

I really thought this guy would be a starter PG material taking over for Sura but it's still early.

Dikembe as a bench sub for Yao has been screwing up lately. Yao needs to realize that he can't get those damn loose ball fouls all the time. Dikembe is no longer the dynamo he once was. Yao needs to stay in the game longer.

It was the same ref who made an earlier call against us when the ball went out of bound CLEARLY bouncing off a Jazz player RIGHT IN FRONT OF him. JVG really took off and the call was reversed.

James will probably be the backup for Sura

If Mike James can shoot a decent 3, I think he should start as long as he can board with some proficiency. I think James' rebounding average will increase bigtime with all these long rebounds off jumpshots.
