    Mike James' first game as a Rocket = 21pts (8-16FGs - 3-8 3ptrs), 3ast, 3stl, 4TO, 2rbs, 34 mins.

James shot the ball almost as much as McGrady (17 shots).

sigh, I get your point, I'm not even a Yao basher but some of these YOFFERs are out in the YOF nebula where Yao does no wrong and his word is like the New Testament.

Absolutely pathetic. The body language at the end of the 3rd quarter from Ming said it all. The others weren't looking any better.
Virtually no defense, poor rebounding and poor execution on the offensive end did us in. The Jazz were getting to every loose ball, making layups without being challenged and no one rotated or defended their outside shots.

don't play the innocent one. Nobody denies that Yao had a bad game. Now you not only insult Rockets player, but also insult other fans. Labelling someone critisize you with YOF, is not going to give you free path to be that annoying on a free board. OK, Yao is worthless, yao is garbage, let's trade him with Odom. Oh, wait, you don't have a say. He's here to stay. What are you going to do? Leave here and save your energy, or act like a punk every time he has a bad game?

What you said is right, then what?
Yao has been doing pretty well these days. Robound is always his problems, you do not know that only at today. And he is suposed to get more rebounds than a PG, but not for every game. And he did got more rebounds at average than any guard in the team. He did not play well does not give you excuse saying someth crap like wasting space.

I can take the loss of this game pretty well, but just cannot take the crap from you. And sorry, I am not ready to go for a sleeper.

To make up for this terrible loss the Rockets are going to have to beat both the Wizards and the Bulls on the road. Good luck!

we should have played with more energy and yeah more excitement and been aggressive and played basketball.
It's okay..we need some time to develop chemistry once agian.
But I can imagine James and Tmac scoring prolifically..along with Yao and Barry and Wesley and Padgett..and Moochie and Dikembe. They just need to find out how to play with each other..it looks good

Moochie is still terrible, as bad as strickland terrible!

James looked great, but he's no Sura.

Yao still has trouble holding onto the damn ball when he tries and catches it.

Tmac was defensed extremely well today.

The Jazz made every shot, it was just "one" of those days.

    Everyone else was just ...........blah.

Being the 6th seed is better than the 5th IMO.

I think Yao missing the chippy layup and fumbling the ball out of bounds basically demoralized the entire team. The team started to rush their shots after they saw Yao can't handle the rock. This is why Yao doesn't get many shots. He doesn't have the confidence of his teammates. In turn, they will not pass to him. I can't imagine Tim Duncan missing chippy layups like Yao does.

    What a pathetic effort.

I'm so pissed. I wasted a beautiful Sunday afternoon watching this crap.

Arghhh. That's another three hours of my life that I will never get back.

Don't look now but the Grizzlies are creeping up on us for that 6th seed. As an injury riddled team, the Grizz sacked it up and won in San Antonio and we sucked it up at home. We are probably closer these days to the 7th seed than making a move for the 5th!

Pleae pick one poster in today's game thread, who praised Yao's play today. Before you randomly pick some silly comments from a thread of last year and stick here, to pretend you are the one who cares about the Rockets, others disagree with your aggressive language are YOFs.

Jesus, Rockets lost three games, look at those great great fans. You can see one's true color in hard times.

The rockets took this team lightly. They were giddy showing off James, in turn forgetting to play ball. I hope Jeff doesn't let this happen again. They deserved to lose, and they needed it.

How about we just blame this first loss on Moochie? I don't see a problem with that (on a serious note, he wasn't awful). Just amazing. Eight straight wins and now three straight losses. Wow.

    One question:
Where have you gone, Bob Sura? A Rockets Nation turns its lonely eyes to you...

I blamed Yao someone on this loss because there are times he should have make himself to be DA MAN and shoot the ball instead of passing out every freakng times. Why is he so scared of being double. It's like as soon as the opponent come he pass out quickly. Just hang on a little bit longer. And there is one time where he could have slam it home for a sure two ...instead of doing that sissy layup that he missed. Stop portraying yourself as a soft little gurl and play like a man. Show some power...put some fear into the opponents by dunking the ball. When the game is on the line and Yao got the ball...man don't give up the ball...shoot it...McGrady would not give up the ball unless he really has to. And McGrady will even force if he has too ....but Yao is too passive...he still need to change his mentality and realize this is his team and he needs to take it upon his shoulder to shoot the ball and help make the comeback instead of playing like a roleplayer like nothing is going on.

Of course I blamed this loss on JVG for putting the wrong lineups on the floor. Wesley and Howard should have been in when Utah is gaining momentum. Moochie should be banned from playing. And the ball should be going to Yao in the post more often.

Every team has down time as every player does. Why not just take this and wish the best for the next game instead of throwing craps?
