But can you name one NBA coach who routinely goes with the "hot" lineup to start a half??? Hell, their lead has grown w/ this lineup.
No kidding. When you're as huge as he is, going down hard on anything is gonna hurt. Maybe it's just a stinger.
Yes it has, but unfortunately that just delays what should happen with the lineup. Juwan will get some of the credit for "just being in the game" when the Rockets expanded the lead, when in fact, he hasn't contributed anything in this run. Now JVG will use this as an excuse to continue to play Howard. but with Baxter traded and Swift not wanting to play here anymore, I guess the Rockets don;t have many other options. When Howard was benched in the 1st half, the Rockets blasted off.
McGrady at least has his shot back for this game...hope he keeps it for a while, we will need it. We're playing well overall, the intensity level is up. Man, McGrady is doubled and tripled at times, rediculous!
We might as well pack it in this season if it was serious. But the way he landed, at worst it should be of the bruise variety and not have to do with ligament damage. I don't expect this to be serious, but gotta keep your fingers crossed.
For the record, I have always wanted DWes to come back next season, but my only issue is with how DWes is being used; he's not a starter on this team anymore, nor should he be expected to be one, he should be coming off the bench to relieve a legitimate, bigger starting SG, and then DWes would be perfect on this team. The only issue all along has been his role on this team, which he can't perform anymore. Once we acquire that starting SG we must get going into next season, DWes should hopefully be re-signed at vet min or something like that.
MCable, you rock! This PPstream is awesome. I regret not figuring this out before. hard to Rox games in North Carolina.
It's official: Swift has been benched. I would really like to see him play tonight. I just doubt it's gonna happen..
I was thinking the same thing. D wes is a great energy guy who will leave it all on the floor. i think his ideal role is 24 to 26 minutes off the bench where he'll provide scoring defense and whatever else is needed to get the job done. he is a true pro.
