The weaknesses sounds a lot like Steve, except Steve's a 5-year veteran, not a rookie from Serbia.

"Weaknesses: His biggest problem is that he needs to learn how to use his skills. He is too aggressive with the ball, he looks to go 1 on 1 every time he touches the ball. He forces some shots and, more important, he lets the defense concentrate on him every time he has the ball because they know he will go 1 on 1. Defense is still an area for him to develop. He can be a effective defender, with his athletic abilities, but right now perhaps he is too confident he can stop every one and block every shot. He needs to gain poise."

Pike is my favorite Rocket right now.

We need more pure shooters... hell, the entire NBA needs more pure shooters.

It seems that half of them play for Utah though.

Great second quarter, outscoring the Jazz by 12. Hope the effort extends to the rest of the game.

Actually... the Jazz offense reminds me a lot of the West Coast offense in Football.

It usually works most of the time, but when the defense has you clamped down, you can't "throw the ball deep."

Meaning, they're great when guys are making shots, and running off those cute picks... but if you play tough-nosed defense, WITHOUT FOULING (Which the Rox have done a good job of), you can shut them down, and they don't have many post or one-on-one options to go to.

They're all up top, above the suites, clubs, resturants, bars, lounges, and the suits and their clients scattered down low. You can't have the best of both worlds. Les got what he catered to.

I never thought I'd be saying this, but Moochie actually played better than Francis in the 1st half. Francis overdribbled too much and went 1 on 1 a few times. While Moochie can't even comprehend doing a thing like creating his own shot, he did actually get the ball going and created shots for everyone else. Our turnovers immediately picked back up once Francis entered the game again and we failed to add onto our run. Francis simply isn't a good PG. Mobley is doing fantastic right now though. 14 points on mostly good shots. A couple were forced but he's actually been playing smart ball for the most part.

Yes, he has done well tonight; but the other shooting has done even better. :)

Is Utah's starting SG Stevenson injured? Why didn't he get in the 1st half?

Apparently had a "cold." As Bill and Calvin said, you have to have pneumonia to sit out a game on Jerry Sloan... its almost as if he's the Parcells of the NBA.

What happened to JJ? Boki got the starting job but did not play that well. Pike has been playing solid on both ends.

Steve still needs to learn how to make a better decision. Yao needs to get around Ostertag and Ak47's defense or brings the ball strong to the rim to punish them.

MoT and Cat have been paying well. Keep it up.
