    That is the point.

A good team should pass the ball well.
A good team players should trust their teammates.
A good team should play consistently both offensively and defensively.
A good team players should be obedient to the coach.

    ......

I would be happy to see Rox at 13-7 though. ;)

An ugly win still far better than a L in the loss column. Every game counts if we are going to make to the playoff this year. Hey, we need much better passing game to have more wins. Trade Steve, hs is supposed to be the leader of this team on and off court. Is he playing up to that level these days?

    Yay!!

    We beat the freaking Jazz!!

I dont care how ugly it was. A win is a win, especially when its a win against Utah.

    I'm happy now. :D

Nope, actually, we should package SF and MoT to Blazers for McInnis and Randolph.... looks like that team is starting to give away freebies by trading Bonzi Wells for Wesley (who?) Person....

Only problem is that the salary doesn't match  ...........

I am glad we won. It was a close game throughout the fourth quarter. I was ready to give up the Rockets in the last 3 minutes. The odds of Rockets wining a close game against a smart team like Jazz had been almost zero. Simply put, Rockets got lucky in 4th quarter. Lopez got hurt, AK47 missed a clutch FT. With 5 seconds left, the best Francis can do is put a TO to give Jazz a chance to win with 0.9 seconds? The dude need to go to the hole every freaking time, that's where his atheletism shines.

Yao needs to start giving out elbows. Learn from the dirty Karla.

Well Steve finished strong in the 4th and accumulated his share of points. I liked the high pick and roll Cat and Francis had going. And I liked how they ran their plays for open midrange jumpers and 3s. If Kirilenko weren't there Yao would probably of had a better game. Yao made a nice adjustment in OT by going away from Kirilenko's direction with the fadeaway and avoiding double coverage by going in the middle. The baseline fadeaway was Hakeem's bread and butter. Nobody could block him going baseline with it because he always went away from weakside defenders. While Yao is definitely no Hakeem, it's nice to see small adjustments like that from him especially during crucial moments of the game. Cat was definitely the man tonight. He hit clutch shot, after clutch shot, and was playing smart and within the system. SF struggled early on and luckily Mooch and our bench actually stepped up and got back into this game. No JJ was actually kind of a blessing in disguise. We had better shooters out there tonight and we shot better from the perimeter because of Boki and Pike. Pike was money from the perimeter and Boki hit a couple of perimeter buckets and slashed well in the lane with a couple of missed lay ups, but one nice put back after his second missed lay up. Good effort from him. I'm glad JVG trusts him enough to put him in the starting lineup over Pike and letting him get some PT. Boki actually looks like a good roleplaying SF. SF was our weakest link tonight with poor defense where it seemed like Lopez was able to drive into the lane at will. The Jazz suffered in OT by having Raja Bell out there instead of Lopez because of his injury. Lopez was getting in the lane at will and created so many shots. Once he was out the Jazz settled for perimeter buckets with Bell out there who is more known for his defense then his perimeter game. That with some timely shooting in OT from our guys and the Rockets ended up with a W. Like everyone here said, it was an ugly win but it was a good win nonetheless.

we won hello people.... to all those who call the game UGLY and how Yao and Steve have a long way to go, ummmmm 19 pts and 20 pts. sure is bad, w/o Steve there is no motivation and leadership he tries to get everyone pumped on the bench, and w/o Yao we would have no team. and yea it was an ugly game through the first quarter but after that we stayed solid and got 107 pts...........i don't want to be rude, but people whine when we win and whine when we lose, and that's not supporting your teaml:( ............but we won!:D

Well, I'm glad that ROX got win finally and especially against Jazz...cuz I hate Jazz!!!
    anyways...
SF still made very stupid decision such as traveling with remaining 0.9 sec???
But, it was good to see how pike can contribute for this team and Yao's aggressiveness.

still....I want to see more numbers of assist. Especially, SF!!!

After the dust settled the Rockets had a good well balanced game.

    Cat: 32pts, 6 rebounds, 5 assists. 2 turnovers

    Yao: 19pts, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 6 turn overs. 0 blocks.

    Francis: 19pts, 4 assists, 3 Turnovers

    Piat: 13pts

Good game by these guys. It was bad early on, but they pulled through.

It was a relief to see us win but they were erratic throughout the game. The Jazz were hot in 1st quarter and our defense was poor but fortunately we came back. In the 4th quarter it looked like we were going to lose but Francis,Mobley and Yao fought back. But if Kirilenko had made the free throw he missed we would have lost again. Fortunately our players especially Mobley pulled it out for us tonight.
I hope that they will learn from their mistakes so they don't panic and make better decisions during the game.
