Tough to decipher because KPJ and KMJ are all close. Could be sticking up for his boy. I was looking for reactions from others but not much there. We’ll see how they react Wednesday night.
If that's the case then Jalen probably complained to Jabari about not passing it to him when Olynyk was guarding him, then Jabari responded by asking Jalen back why hasn't he passed him the ball when he's been open.
The on-court spat that got caught on camera wasn't good, but he was mature enough here to praise Jabari. Team is still young, the incident was unfortunate, but I think they need better leadership to ensure this doesn't happen again. Would have preferred if Boban just stood between those two, I was hoping his presence on the team would stop these incidences from happening.
We are like 5 games in. Certainly not a good sign to seeing altercations on the bench between your two supposed cornerstones. **** going to get alot more frustrating and stressful than Game number 4 vs the Jazz.... Heres hoping JSJ isn't a hot head.
At the same time, we can also notice that even in the last minute, the players ignored what Silas was saying.
It has been said that he isn't the type to tolerate bullshit. Him and the coaching staff will be on a collision course sooner or later. Jalen and even moreso KPj are more flash and can be happy even in a loss. Jabari is absolutely not like that.
Lol, this is so true. He came from an Auburn team that was probably really disciplined and shared the ball. Lol, it's all selfish ISO-ball here. Bad culture, bad offense, bad defense. Also, ISO-ball is so boring to watch.
I don't see it as anything serious. Consider it a bonding moment between two competitive dudes in a heated game. If anything, I'm glad the two future stars of the team aren't afraid to hold each other accountable.
Just a little spat hopefully. They will have a better understanding and respect of each other now. Jabari now knows that Jalen ain't playing about HIS team.
There are good losses and bad wins. We lost a good game to the Grizzlies. We won a terrible game tonight. The positives: Jabari played well all night, especially on offense which was a welcome surprise I loved the aggressiveness of Tari, Garuba, and KJ even though Tari and KJ had rough shooting nights Efficient shooting night from Jalen Nix actually played really well I don't know why Jalen gets phased out of the offense so much. It always feels like he scores 80% of his points every night over a period of 2-3 mins where he hits a few threes and gets good drives in, but then the rest of the game is sidelined in favor of KPJ iso. I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees this and it's really frustrating to watch. Aside from that, we're getting close to the point where the KPJ as PG experiment is coming to an end (at least I hope). It's been a full season and what we're seeing this season is no improvement and at times a regression. I also am losing confidence in Silas. He has struggled to maintain discipline with this team, and too often we look like we're playing pickup out there. No organization to the offense, and when we have to play halfcourt, we don't look good.
Jabari Smith Jr really is similar to Akeem Olajuwon his Rookie Year always wanted to fight, punch guys out, if it becomes disrespectful. Akeem and Teammates fought against each other in practice. Akeem slapped Vernon, Vernon threw a chair at a window, took the broken glass and wanted to attack Hakeem Cops came in and stopped it. That was extreme level and thank goodness Hakeem was safe. Not having Alperen Sengun as a Playmaker in the Game hurt the Team, not having Alperen Sengun around, hurt the Chemistry.
