People trying to take cell phone pics of Tmac. Tracy sitting down with the fans. People having a good chuckle Guess what? I sat next to Tmac. You don't believe me? Here's the pic to prove it
THe Rockets have 'HEART' !! I never thaught that I would come to this conclusion about a JVG coached team! To-night I was impressed and very happy to see the Rockets outplay the Jazz. All this is a very good indicator. Get well Yao your team is going places!!
No kidding, we're winning because T-Mac is showing signs of being more healthy than he's been in a number of years and thus, T-Mac is elevating his game to that next level. He knows he has to keep us going while Yao is out but, asking him to do this for the entire year by himself would be ridiculous! Duh, the Rox need Yao back. Unbelievable some morons actually see what's going on and say "oh we really dont need Yao..." What T-Mac is doing is special and it's awesome but, Yao keeps the D's honest and in the playoffs will be the flat out difference maker because no one can remotely defend him. NO ONE! A fat winning streak before Yao returns would be epic for us and then with our two-headed monster in full effect we can YAO-minate!!! In the words of Toby Keith, "how do you like me now?"
I have to say I'm shocked. Can't believe how well this team played tonight and how well Deke matched up against Boozer. Our defense is crazy good and as long as McGrady stays hot, our offense is going to click.
You do know that the Jazz are #3 in the conference, right? This was a quality win over a relentless opponent. The Jazz have been straight up punking opponents. As much as it pains me to say this, there's a reason and that is they're good at least best in their division. Denver may have something to say about that before the season's out! No you're ridiculous! These are professionals and sometimes it's about grinding out wins. Example: Memphis gave a yeomans effort but, not enough. You are not going to blow every opponent out, its just illogical to even consider. Right now all the Rox have to do is take them one at a time and pile up the wins. When Yao gets back the conference had best be on notice because with Snyder, perhaps Bonzi in tandem, we are gonna flat out be BALLIN', baby! Good luck trying to stop us, because you will hardly be able to contain us! BOOM SHA LOCK LOCK BOOM !!! LETS GO ROCKETS!
i had stupid dishnet work. it doesnt have FSN and i miss most of these games. ANd of course tmac had to go off with 44 points. happy for the win. cant wait til we're at full strength again.
pbp in chat is realtime....no delay btw...by popular demand, I will make a note to catch the brief glimpse at the young ladies in question in the video. just got finished editing, and am starting the conversion. should have it posted by midafternoon
Look John Lucas II, Your son is too short to play big minutes in the NBA. We all love it when he scores 7 points in 7 minutes, but he can't start in this league. He also turns the ball over and takes ill advised shots. Most point guards do. That's because the PG position is destined to force the issue. That's the PG duty. If you want your son's buddy, Vassilis, to start, there are problems with him too. The fact is, Rafer does his job and it allows the stars to shine. I don't care what point guard you hand pick, not one PG in the league will put up big numbers with Yao and Tracy on the team. By the way, Alston played 44 minutes tonight and we beat the Jazz by 14. Alston plays point guard and so did Jerry Sloan. Their coach knows the position well, coaches it well and knows how to beat other PGs. Rafer was 5/11 in minutes that mattered. Fine, he missed a lot of those inside the arc, but how much are those worth? Two? How many turned into offensive rebounds for points? A good miss is a real thing. A bad miss leads to easy points. A bad turnover leads to points too. Rafer didn't do much of that today. He was part of a team that held a top notch team to 86 points. Rafer played a great game and shot poorly. If the rest of the NBA was so lucky. Give it a rest. There is more to winning than a high FG%. Look where the Grizzlies are without their franchise player Shane? He doesn't fill a stat sheet. He jumps helps teams win. So does Rafer. That being said, Rafer does have minute limitation. He starts shooting poorly after 30-35 minutes of play. JVG is supposed to fix that, not Rafer.
Some observations from my first game in a long time.... I still hate the Toyota Center's lack of character. I used to love walking around the outside of the arena. Bring back the old Compaq Center food-court and get rid of these lame, generic, gimmicky rip-offs with astronautical names. I want my god-damn personal pan. I sat next to Andre Johnson tonight, who was probably the most disinterested guy in the arena. I did a little double-check to get a look at his girlfriend, which probably wasn't a good idea with the action being at the other end of the court and me not being a good actor. He was sitting right behind McGrady in that Chronicle pic. Although the entire Rockets' bench has made it a habit of standing during the game, Steve Novak decided to stand by himself an additional 20 times, adding to my entertainment value in kind. He's like an appreciative Dan Langhi, which might make all the difference in the world for his career. Watching the three elementary-school boys in front of me look at each other in vague recognition of something wonderful unfolding before their eyes, as my friend and I place odds on how long it would be before the power dancers took off their abnormal, additional layer of clothing during a timeout...15 seconds, and priceless. Andre Kirilenko is an awkwardly ugly human being. I love John Lucas III, and I think Van Gundy is an idiot for not using him more. He is great at post-entry passes with Howard and McGrady, which is obviously a big-part of the offense right now. I could be wrong, but I believe neither was in the lineup during his spot-minutes tonight; and in the absence of that option, relying on a motion game requiring relatively unathletic players (sans Luther) to cut to get open, he was forced to recklessly drive to the basket on their account. I'm more up on Rafer than I could ever imagine, but it kills me that JL isn't placed in situations where he can get Rafer's looks at the basket.
It's ridiculously painful to watched the Rockets play tonight because they're in Toyota center, well, not just one game, but almost every game. The fans has no passion, the seats are empty, I really feel shameful for the players on our team that they're stuck into it.
Let's see, midafternoon...............nooo!! That would be about 4-5 o'clock in the morning in Hong Kong. Can you simply post the entire game on Clutchfans and then posting the editing? If you can do that, I'll be forever in debt to you (not that I'm not), because after Monday, I won't be able to download any more of your videos for the next eight weeks. Your games are always appreciated!
It's rediculous how you suck at being a fan. Why are you a fan in the first place? A fan is suppose to be happy and sad with the team, not criticize, criticize, criticize. Beat a good team at home by 15 and T-Mac scoring 44 isn't quite enough for you huh, hater.
please go away. what an incredible win. to win in that fashion without our best player is just ridiculous. they're starting to put this together. when yao comes back, look the hell out.
