NBA refs have the reputation of discriminating against foreign players. The former Euro greater, Drazen Petrovich(?), was murdered by the opponents and the refs, the Nets management got fined for making the comment about the refs "discriminating against non-US players". At the end, the Nets had to keep sending the tapes to league office, and Drazen was treated much better after that.

Maybe the Rockets should do the same thing.

    Ding ding ding.

Last year, Yao seemed to get the benefit of the calls. This year, he's getting the shaft.

The NBA, imo, is perhaps *the* most suspect league as far as officiating goes. There have always been some really, really dubious calls in favor of the "glamour" teams (Kobe against Indiana a few years back, springs to mind immediately... Jordan, etc).

Last year, Yao was a potential savior of basketball. Now, he's slightly better than Rik Smits and James is the saviour. The protection has been rescinded... and I think the refs are actually sticking it to him a bit more.

Pike shoots better beyond the arc than inside the arc. Cato had a great game. Good win.

Someone make a video of all the obvious fouls and send it to the Commissioner. Oh.. wait... nevermind, they just retaliate with less calls and some suspensions.

Sorry to say this after enjoying our trouncing of the Jazz but Steve Francis still takes too many selfish shots that dont go in, especially when he has guys open and ready to receive and shoot.I know he had seven assists but he is capable of so much more.

I'm a little surprised but very happy with any win over the Jazz. I didn't expect us to hold them to a low score.

    Nevermind my last post.

Great game by the Rockets. Kelvin Cato has been fantastic this season. What a great game by him last night (11pts, 15rbs, 4blks). Yao has been great too. He began to heat up hitting 8 of his last 10 shots for 16pts. Stevie was awesome. 17pts, 7asts, 6rb.

Great game last night. How sweet it is to hold the Jazz to their season low of 63pts, and win big!
