Let's count from here: +9 in the second quarter, +3 so far in the 4th. :)

the Fouls against Yao are ridiculous! the Refs are getting out of hand! Errrgghhh.. frustrating. I dont know why the Refs have something against Yao or something? He was having a good game.

Yao's offensive fouls maybe a good thing to us.

Part of it was all the other teams try to get Yao into foul trouble. Another part was Yao didn't yell at the ref. Another part was Rocket too nice not to appeal to the league. Another part was ... :(

At this rate Yao will foul out every other game! If he tries to play aggresively he gets called for offensive charging which is BS and when he goes after loose balls he gets those called against him too.. *sigh

well hopefully we can hang on for the win.

The team is playing great right now. And those two losses......at least we should have won one of those.

Yao should shout the F word against the referees. I don't mind him getting a couple of Ts. It seems that he has been consistently getting a couple of those ticky tack calls against him in each game, at least recently. He is not getting any love from the Rs, let alone all star calls.

And he rarely gets calls when being fouled by opponents when shooting.

The funny thing is the other team doing the same thing or even worse to Yao but didn't get the call. :(

I believe the refs are playing the tenure card. Yao is still in his 2nd year. He won't be getting the calls till later on in his career. Some of the foul calls against Yao have been very suspect. My feeling is that Yao will eventually get his calls due to the unique international aspect that Yao brings to the NBA.

Initially, I thought why pulled out Wilks so quickly. But then it was Francis - Wilks (Francis playing Wilks' style) out there. :D

Not really. He may think it's better to play soft to avoid offensive fouls.

Finally a good shooting game from SF.. shooting above 50% for the night.. actually 65% which is pretty damn good.

    With Moochie's gone away.
I believe Rox can win much more games.
    Really!:D

Now... We all know the real leader on Rocket was Moochie. It was Moochie who led the team with dribble mania; and Francis simply followed his lead. :D

I disagree on the refs playing the tenure card. They are calling fouls on Yao against the likes of Collins, the 5th tier players.

Another victim of the Rs on the Rockets team is Cat. I am amazed at the fact that he probably only gets 10% of the calls. Tonight he was clearly fouled 3 times either passing or shooting, and none of it was called.

You know what, he is playing more a different style tonight, more passing and take the shot when it comes instead of forcing it. :)

I don't know if Yao needs to go profane on the refs. Look at Rasheed Wallace. This guy was once one of the best big men in the league. He just never got along with the refs. Getting along with the refs is a big thing in my opinion. Rasheed is a goner in this league especially after that tantrum he threw out blasting David Stern. Does anyone think Clyde Drexler's career was handicapped somewhat by his seesaw relationship with the refs? He got thrown out of a playoff game. MJ got his calls because the league deemed it so, but MJ cultivated his relationship with the refs to the point where he would almost get the benefit of the doubt when the game was on the line. Yao will get his.
