I don't know, McGrady is liable to go off for 55, just to show Amare The Man REALLY is! This Rockets team seems to be locked in and ready for Phoenix, about time. Our frontline is phenomenal but, more importantly, our backcourt is producing. Wesley is the veteran PG this particular team needed!

This is our depth chart currently:
    PG Wesley Barry Barret
    SG Sura Barry
    SF McGrady Bowen
    PF Howard Taylor
    C Ming Mutombo

Im very happy with our guard rotation right now, it is very solid. We definitely need an upgrade at PF (starter or backup) though.

Allright, we beat the Utah Referees!

Solid win with all contributing. I haven't seen this good of ball movement and crisp passes in the half court in a few years. This team seems like it's really coming together and becoming a TEAM. And, it should get better as Barry & Wesley settle in and learn how to play along thier new teammates. I'm really starting to love this team!

That's true! he has just been playing so well as far as moving the ball that I just naturally consider him a PG! :D

Nothing makes me happier than beating the Jazz. Sura is a real fighter. His rebounding and scoring was great. T-Mac made for his poor shooting by getting to the free throw line and it was nice to see Yao get back. Howard did a good job too.
I hope Wesley will start hitting some outside shots which could take a lot of pressure off T-Mac.

Though i hate amare bu ti do admire his aggressiveness and mindset... he get blocked by yao once, twice, thrice yet he will still keep challenge yao... whereas yao on the other hand will pass to open teammates..... :(

wow. although i respect stoudamire's game, this comment is weird. You applaud a player that keeps on getting blocked, when he might have had teammates open that he could have passed to. While you frown upon a player that actually finds an open teammate? am i missing something there?

Yao and Amare went head to head 6 times so far and Yao outplayed Amare 5 times.

Yao cannot stop Amare from getting fast break points, and Amare cannot stop Yao in the paint.

The key will be for Sura/Wesley to bother Nash so that he cannot free wheel on the offensive end. Spurs used Parker to abuse Nash and the result was a blowout win for the Spurs.

Yao's "new year wish" is to score at least 50 in one game this season. I can't wait to see Yao to drop 50 on Amare and realize his wish!

I'm sure that Detroit has him for at least one more year and I'd also be willing to bet that they at least pick up his option.

This is how Yao played Amare last time they played:

Yao 29 pts 19 rebs on 11-16 FG
Amare 24 pts 15 rebs on 7-26 FG

    http://www.nba.com/games/20040315/PHOHOU/boxscore.html

Yao owned Amare in that game! This season Amare has improved a lot where Yao hasn't improved that much. I am excited to see how they play against each other this time.

    :p :p

If Yao stays out of foul trouble it could be a monster game for him.

When he gets excited about playing an opponent he usually plays really well.

I just wish he would STAY excited every game.
