Throw some salt to the sick Jazz's wound, Rockets!!! Strange to see Yao was not on the court last game, hope he will be back. 92-87, go rockets.
Rockets should win this game pretty handily 95-83. Good month of Dec. for Rockets with a 9-5 record even with all the major changes. Tmac Dec. Stats: MPG: 42.4 FG%: .428 3P%: .372 STL: 2.0 TO: 2.1 RPG: 7.3 APG: 5.6 PPG: 27.7 Does anyone think that Tmac would be getting some MVP talk if his Nov. stats were better?
he definitely should be. it's funny how people keep calling him selfish and claiming that he doesn't make his teammates better. all hogwash, tmac is awesome. I love him.
honestly. . . . I'm afraid IF Deke does really well . . . . . JVG may start looking to trade Yao Rocket River
If the Rockets lose this game, it may surpass the Bobcats' loss at home for worst home loss in franchise history.
A very tough game, as the Rockets players are still learning how to play as a cohesive unit. The Jazz system will give our team fits. Jazz 89 Rocks 83 DD
For all the overconfident: Beware the Jazz. A Sloan-coached team could be made up of seven 15-year-olds and be dangerous, especially for our inconsistent Rockets.
Yao comes back from his fever a bit early. Still feverish, all he remembers is 103, and thinks that is what he is supposed to score. Yao has a terrefic first quarter scoring 25.75 points. Jerry Sloan calls for defensive stopper Ostertag to come in to try to cool Yao off. Quickly, Sloan realizes that Tag is no longer on the team, but makes a quick trade to get him. Unfortunately for Sloan, by halftime, he realizes why he let Tag go. Trying to controll his mistake, he signs Karl Malone to a free agent contract, specifically so Malone can slap Tag to the ground. Malone shouts "I kept myself in shape waiting for my return, why can't you?" John Stockton hears about all the fun, and runs to join the team, wanting to b**** slap Tag also. The crowd gets into it as Stockton and Malone lead a dramatic comeback. Jazz down by one with one second to go. Stockton, the cagy veteran falls down while Malone fouls himself. The ref of course awards Malone two freethrows and posesion for the hard foul on himself. Sloan fearing that Malone will have a finals flashback and miss the freethrows, decides that the Jazz need something dramatic and now. So he lights a fire by the bench, and sacrifices Tag on it to the Gods. Malone misses both freethrows, proving that Slaon was praying to the wrong God. Ass it is Malone on the freethrow line, the whole scenario takes about 30 minutes. After the game, while being interviewd by Jim Gray, Sloan says "well it wasn't a total loss, I think we got rid of Ostertag once and for all".
Anyone have any injury updates for the Rockets? -Yao Ming -Andre Barrett -Ryan Bowen -Clarence Weatherspoon
