    I think that's quite evident.

    Who's out of their mind?

I can see why you're not a GM.

Spot on - and the thing is, Phoenix would turn their noses up at that trade!

Yao does have the potential to be a very damaging big man - an he is on occasion - but not onsistently enough. For now I've stopped expecting him to be a Franchise player - and surely the move to get McGrady shows the brass thinks the same way. We've brought in our superstar and Yao is second fiddle. He does have the right skill-set to be a feature player, but it's a bold judge who would say that he'll ever be a better player than TMac (let alone TD or KG).

I think consistency is the key. Yao may put up 40 points one night, but he may put up garbage stats like he did against the Nuggets. It's almost like Jeckyll and Hyde.

Superstars are not Jeckyll and Hyde. They aren't superstars some nights while no-shows other nights.

Some of these YOFFERS can't see through their Yao colored glasses or should I say thru the fumes clouding the vision eminating from Yao's jock strap their sniffing.

Yao hasn't shown any consistency to any appreciable degree that will make his name appear along any of the players the caliber of Duncan, KG, Hakeem and now we add to the list Admare.

It's sad come to think about it. He can't play more than 31 minutes without bowing over out of breath in his mid 20s. I can't imagine what his game will look like when he is approaching his 30s. Dik shows more alertness at 38 than Yao in many games this year, too many.

WOW, a guy drops 50 one time and you think he can be on your short list? JUST CRAZY... look at that list and what everyone else has done on that list, then take a look at that last name again...

You really havent been up with the news have you?????

Amare is turning out like Shawn Kemp. It's gonna be interesting how Yao will turn out.

Whenever you see YOHs, the first question you should ask: Are they Lakers fans dressed in disguise? The only thing they are trying to achieve here is to create a false sense of fan hatred on Rockets BBS. If they pushed hard enough, maybe, I mean maybe, they can tilt the scale just a little bit to push Yao out of Houston.

Yao already draw double-teams in the post just like the elite big man of Shaq and Duncan (KG is not really a post player, Amare doesn't draw much double-teams yet). True he has many flaws in stamina, rebounding, and blocking. But you got to know that Yao has never been in any type of professional condition training until last summer. And he is definitely poorly coached by JVG and Ewing. I think the current Yao is far below his potential. As on how improve Yao's play, I would like to know too. :)

I'm looking at Admare in the long run and the probability that He will continue to develop his game and getting over 20 a game and possibility more than 10 rebounds per game. I think he will be a Superstar that might rank with those guys. The same can't really be said of Ming, sorry but I've seen enough of his game he just has too many physical and mental barriers for him to dominate like those other players including Admare.

Hmm, Ming is averaging less minutes than last year. what's your point?

All the games I've seen he still looks dogged tired when the team quickens the pace. Van Gundy probably wants to play him much more but he knows he can't push it bacuase he knows Yao will dissappear late in the season and post season -if we make it.

If you even bother to come to a Rockets BBS to kiss a non-Rocket player's *ss, at least get their names right.

Impossible. How could you stop expecting Yao to be a franchise player, since you had never started in the first place.

Um. Have you ever watched Admare play. I don't know why you're giving him the benefit of the doubt that he will average over 10 boards a game when he's never done it in his career, and he's not doing it this year. Admare is averaging less boards this year than Yao despite playing 5 more minutes a game and the Suns games having almost 19 more shots put up than Houston games.

And have you seen him play on defense. Let's just say that there's no "D" in Admare no matter how you decide to spell it.

Until he can round out his game, I wouldn't even think about sticking him up there Duncan, KG, and Hakeem.

Amare also has the MVP of the league in Nash playing with him which helps his game a ton.

Just like Kidd can make so many players better looking than they really are.

Not saying Amare is not a good player but some people are pushing him up there way too much.

Is Admare a new product from Lavasoft?

Amare is no where near what Kemp was in seattle right now. Kemp back then had everything Amare has plus good shooting for a PF. AND Kemp did it as a slightly undersized PF.

and quite honestly, I wouldn't deal Yao for Amare anyways.

Man if the rockets didn't blow so many games they should have won, they would be looking great right now. I can count at least a minimum of 7 blown games that were choked away in the 4th or losses against teams we should have beat. I know the what if game sucks, but they could have been 23-8 right now. Heck even just going back to the 2 bobcat losses and the terrible bucks game, they would be 19-12.
