Is it just me or is D-Mo's accent disappearing? He sounded practically American in that post game interview.
Howard's defense is still top rate but maybe his minutes need to be limited or something. At any rate trading Dmo just does not seem reasonable with Howard playing this sluggishly.
I think he's just coasting. Whether it's to avoid reinjuring himself, or he's bored with the regular season, or he's just saving himself for the playoffs, it just seems like he's not giving it his all out there. That breakaway layup pretty much sums up his play since his return from injury.
DMo has such a nice touch on his hook shots. He can hit it from anywhere in the paint. Upon receiving it, he just goes up for his shot, like a half-hook. Dwight should be a big man and admit he has to learn from DMo.
i dont want to bench him but this past week im now concerned about dwight. he's on a 20+ million dollar contract. when is he gonna become the 2nd option again. either the coaching staff has to come out and say he's gonna be injured all season or they gotta get him back to being a scoring threat.
Can anybody grab a video of the play later in the 3rd when James was feeling it and he had Elijah Millsap stumble like three times. James missed the shot so I am pretty sure it won't make any highlight reels, but I would love to see it again. Seemed like it may have been his nastiest crossover(s) yet.
It helps when he's playing alongside some pretty ugly dudes. I love our team, but we do not have a very attractive roster. Speaking of how our guys look, there was a quick shot of T-Jones on the bench near the end of the game and he looked like he'd packed on some pounds.
