Its easy to be disgusted by our D tonight, but NO does this to almost everyone (100+ a game).

NO, along with Phoenix, is one of the few teams that you are just going to have to outscore them to win and hope they don't have a good defensive night.

With Paul and all those shooters, not much you can do. They are very poor man's Phoenix.

Woooooooo, those last 3 minutes were BEAUTIFUL! T-Mac once again showing why he's one of the top threats in the league.

Great game by T-Mac -- 25 pts, 10 assists, 3 rebounds, and that beautiful stretch of jumper after jumper after jumper to secure the win. Yes, it took him a little while to really get started but those last minutes more than make up for it -- and you can't hate on 10 assists from your SG!

Great game by Rafer -- yeah Chris Paul is incredibly hard to guard but you held your own on the other side tonight. 7-13 from the field, 5-10 from the three, 13 assists, 3 steals, and only 1 turnover. Save some of that for the playoffs, baby!

Great game by Luther -- this guys shooting is just incredible, and he played a very controlled offense today. 5 assists, no turnovers, against a very talented backcourt. Love it!

Very Good game by Yao -- I loved the offensive dominance but he was a little lost on the defensive end with all those 4s and 5s playing the midrange game, and 2 rebounds against the Hornets without Tyson Chandler leaves a lot to be desired by our 7'6" great wall. None the less, 11-16 from the field is pure dumbinance!

Very Good game by Shane -- way to shoot yourself out of your slump. 6-10 is balling! Some of those post moves were extra sweet. Little weak on the defensive end but I think that was mostly due to outstanding penetration by Paul and hot shooting by the Hornets players.

Chucky and Juwan both did their thing as well. I don't think any Rockets player had anything less than a stellar performance tonight!

Oh, and yes, GREAT game by the Phoenix Suns thus far! 22 pt lead with 9 to go -- give us the home court advantage!!!

True. I feel bad for 'em. Like Bill and Matt said, they're better than 3 East playoff teams. Look how well they just played the Rockets and WITHOUT Chandler, Stojakovic, and Desmond Mason. They could be real scary next year if they can keep everyone healthy. Damn, the Southwest is just too good.

remember that the hornets shot like 54%..and we shot 58%......chances for rebounds were smaller than usual game. plus, they did a good job of boxing him out offensively and defensively. i don't think yao had too many points in the paint.

Funny thing was, since Yao got his second rebound (early in the 3rd quarter) I was thinking that okay Yao only needs one more rebound to break that unlikable predication that dude make, which has never happened. Weird feeling

Can't wait for R2K's video for this match. High scoring is always exciting. Please R2K work overnight and upload the files ASAP.

It's been a while for the Rockets to outscore the opponent in the 4th quarter. 38 points in the 4th should be the season high. Clutch performance!

33 assist total should be the season high as well.

If the Rockets are playing like this, I don't care if they have home court or not. Bring it on and let's whip the Jazz.

Well but Yao is 226 cm, so how could he get 2 reb? I just do not understand it. For me he should have 11+ rebounds per game. Look at Mutombo, when Yao was out he had had 10 straight games with 10+ rebounds and he is 40! Bit win is a win. Good job Rockets, but we have to work on defense and rebounding.

    Look at Rafer and Juwan

    Rafer: 21 pts, 13 ast and 5/10 3FG
    Juwan: 10 points, 6 reb, 5/9 FG
    I can't belive

yes and why do we keep trapping paul. he's not a great shooter. die w/ him making Js all day. yao's already slow and u want him to trap guys and force him to move his feet. maybe that's why his rebounding was low. when yao moves out to defend the pick and roll, he can't move back to grab boards :(

The Rockets will need to beat the Suns to make the Jazz game meaningless. You can't count on the Trail Blazers going into Utah and winning.

man watching yao makes u see how great dream was. he could dominate on both ends at the same time. yao really right now is simply an offensive player. he rebounds simply b/c of his size, but realistically a liaiblity on D. we need to mix some zone.

In other words, Barkley thinks while Yao had 30 and 2, it wasn't a duhminating 30 and 2.

Height is not the only thing that contributes to rebounding. Look at Dennis Rodman and his rebounding skills, the man is not even 7ft tall. If you didn't watch the game, you should do that before making such a comment. The way NOK ran the PnR is the reason why Yao didnt get as many rebounds tonight.
