Tons of points and no rebounds at all

Assuming Utah loses (which looks like it's going to happen), the Rockets either need to win one more game or Utah needs to lose one more.

 

i wouldn't be happy w/ this win.

utah, a good pick and roll team, will exploit our team involving yao every damn play.

and we let them outrebound us WITHOUT chandler

the good thing - mac has another good all-around game that is typical of his play at around this time of year, yao continues his efficient offensive play, rafer continues to hit his shots, our offense is crisp right now.

but defense

 

awesome defensive struggle. The gotta love the defensive stategy.

 

my god, a zboy appearance? i thought juwan had sacrificed him to get his mid range jumper going when yao went down. oh well.

 

Yeah, he got caught between not giving up layups to Chris Paul and his man consitantly making really long rang jump shots...just a bad matchup for him, but he gives them equal problems at the other end.

 

ROFL Yao with 2 rebounds!? Something tells me JVG is not ROFLing.

Seriously, why did Yao only have 2 rebs, especially with Chandler not even playing!? Was Yao being too sluggish?

 

Dominating on offense, non-exist on defense and rebounding.

How about just beat UTA?

 

I am not a huge Rafer fan, BUT, he had an OUTSTANDING game. His shooting was unRaferlike, and he made some passes that were incredible. If he plays like that in the postseason, the Rockets really would be scary.

TMac took this one over. It occurred to me that he might have had a plan to conserve energy and distribute early and shift into scoring mode late.

And the Hornets really impress me. I think they are better than the Clippers, Warriers, or the Lakers and most teams in the East. Healthy, the Hornets are clearly a playoff team. I hope they dont get anyone really good in the lottery.

but man, chris paul is effin good! his passes are always money, and he seems to have added some shooting to his arsenal. a nice player to watch, and i think that he's still better than deron.

 

2 rebounds from Yao, that is shame game for him.

Wow, our centers rocked the house with 32 points and 5 boards.

 

However I can see Okur being constantly such a bad matchup for us in the coming series

 

I'll take resting against Utah with homecourt advantage, Golden State in against the Mavs and the Lakers out.

What a good game. 123-112, man. I don't even think it was bad defense, both teams were shooting so good. It was close all game long, but the Rockets just exploded in the last 3:10. That was really considering they have a tendency to wilt in the last few minutes, especially since it was against the Hornets whom they've had trouble against before in the 4thQ.

I'm loving Rafer shooting well right before the playoffs. That'll be huge. We know Luther will be shooting well. Yao & T-Mac looking great. It looks like everyone is "getting it". They're gonna do DAMAGE.
